I stopped so I could start it up again for NYJ... and because I made a transition to my new apartment and still don't have a great indoor spot.
"...You have to get, really, practice, like eight hours every day. Then you get good level and then you can compete....There is no money, so players are like big family and that is what I -like" -Vasek-

What are y'all looking forward to?
This event generally provides some of the hardest laughs I get for the year... not just one or two of them but whole nights full of hilarity.
Some favorites moments:
-Drunk Mahood
-Kolo and I combining our resources to save shelved footbags
-Left handed throwing
-Danny Petrick going absolutely hysterical
-Bacon
-Foursquare!!!!
-Obscene apes
-Adventures with free food
-Giant penis shadow puppets
-Meeting friendly homeless people
-Hacking with footbaggers
-Making ducks
-Ninja snatching pizzas
-Crotchfire
-Pinata decimation
One other moment I always look forward to is that long walk to the event site through the humongous corridors. There are kids running around everywhere as you go up the escalators and your excitement starts to slowly build. You finally get to the top and turn that corner to actually enter the even more gi-normous convention hall - It almost stops you in your tracks since you haven't been there for a year and your forget how freaking enormous it is and how loud it gets with all the people having fun engaged in the various activities. Volleyball girls are giggling, basketball players are dribbling and running through the crowd, vendors are trying to draw you in to try their new mutant fruit smoothie energy drink thingies, and skateboarders ignore the staff as they skate their way to the back where they plan to do weak shit on the ramps. Even through the noise you can hear your heart pumping louder and louder as you walk (roughly) two blocks through the massive swarm of people to the Footbag site. No need for a map, you know where it is, you're not a fucking newb!
You pass the elevated food/dining area and see the site. At this point there's no hiding that big shit eating grin you've had since passing the climbing wall which you swear this year you are going to do but it never happens. The ever present tent and footbag banner are set up. Scot is on the mic trying to draw in the onlookers. The table is covered in Kolo wear. The hardcore are already shredding with sweat dripping off their foreheads. Other players are watching, still in their street clothes & seated on the chairs that the gymnastics team from across the aisle didn't manage to steal (seriously). You hear your name and are greeted with a big enthusiastic hug by someone that's nothing but smiles. You can't help but reciprocate. You think to yourself, 'Finaly, NYJ has started... and what the fuck is this guy's name?'

Him and his fiance were supposed to come, now that neither of them are I was wondering if anyone had room in their hotel room for 1 more.
But a lot of toledo is going.
How are you traveling? And what dates are you gonna be in Chicago?
