What if they look like a 12 year old? Will that work?

A neighbor of mine, who was inspired to start playing, is about 13 years old.

Kevin,

That is not humorous at all. Steve is trying to do our sport a service by providing players with an opportunity to be featured on a commercial that could be seen by a wide audience of people. Steve probably has had limited exposure to the footbag community before this post. I hate to think that his first outreach to the community would be answered with a post like the above.

Steve, thanks for posting on modified in search of talent for your commercial. I suggest you contact the IFPA through http://www.footbag.org, who may be able to offer more people in the age range.

Thanks,

David Clavens

keep in mind, a "footbag player" in that age range is rare, and even more so if you would expect them to do anything substantial on demand in front of a camera crew. if you expanded your age criteria even 5 years older, the skill level of players you would have access to would be much greater, and you would probably yield better results for your production. just a suggestion.

I would try to get a hold of Scott Davidson and ask if his son Alex would be interested.

Thanks to everyone who thought of us. We did talk to them, and sent video and we were considered but ultimately alex did not get the role. Thanks to Tom and Nick who contacted us directly and started the ball rolling. We were close. Thanks! Scott
