Too bad I just found out there's a spot where it's leaking

Probably some of the microsuede that torn off while I was gathering.
It happened a few times on the making.

Gotta work on the next one now

dimitri, great first bag!

a trick you could try is applying a tiny bit of clear nailpolish on the microsuede panels' edges after you cut them out. some of the greats (MC, brianbear) have told me this step is overkill, but i always do it to microsuede just to be on the safe side. as far as i know, nobody else does this because it's not really necessary, but it could help if your fabric is fraying too easily.

EDIT: brian you snuck in a post while i was editing. have you ever tried edgesealing a weak fabric like the one described, and if so how were the results?

i have been sneaking in posts everywhere lately!
anyways, clear nail polish is genius, i did a ghetto version of this where i tried to BURN the fray down so it made a nice solid chunky edge.
Now I just use certain microsuedes for 3 and 4 stitch, and reserve the poopoo fraying microsuede for 2-stitch bags (the extra bite gives you something to work with).

just for the record, i made a 92 that size about two months ago out of amaretta. sorry i didnt post pics, abshire bought it off me for 50 bucks before i could snap one.

damn all hell just broke loose with that 92-panel mini; the gold colored pents look like 2-stitch, are those microsuede pents 2-stitch also?

thanks for the comments guys, I was really happy with how it turned out. it is all 2-stitch.
I was going to scan my templates including the 42 panel ones, but my scanner/computer connection isn't working properly...
Dimensions on the 92 template: 12 pents, 20 symmetrical hexes, 60 hexes
1.1 cm side lengths for the pentagons.
1.1 cm long side lengths for the small hexes.
0.4 cm short side lengths for the small hexes.
0.9 - 1.0cm side lengths for the symmetrical hexes.
Gather tool for the small flowers is the bottom of a fine tip sharpie.
Gather tool for the symmetrical hexes is the same plus a little electric tape.
hope that is enough info for you all to try it out!
