Another fun session with Jackson tonight.

Highlights:

My first guiltless run!!! Pixie opp clipper> gyro guay> ducking butterfly> ducking in-spinning dragon

We kicked next to a road and while we were playing, someone drove by and yelled "Vasek Klouda!!!" at us. We were stoked that someone knew about footbag. We hoped they would come and kick with us, but they never came back.

Bob said I should play in a phone booth, so I snagged some sidewalk chalk from my work and drew Jackson and I little boxes to kick in. We both found that they work all too well.

Finally hit my first REAL torque. Bob always pointed something out about them that it was incorrect. I could never figure it out until tonight. I hit 2 total

My ducking rakes on both sides are looking nice and feeling easy to hit

I'm substituting Pdx Mirages and Pdx Illusions for my clipper> near mirages. It looks and feels better.

Gonna take a little break from kicking. Legs hurt again, plus I have a lot of tests coming up this week. Really excited people are liking the new shred video!

Awesome session with Tyler!!! He's getting back into it like a champ. He' now hitting spinning clippers and footed a couple flipside spinning clippers. He looks really flowy for being kind of new to footbag.

My highlights:

Stepping clipper> ducking clipper> spinning clipper bs

Hit a few more ducking inspinning rakes bs

Flipside spinning clippers are HERE!!! I hit a good handful of them! I'm so excited to see my flipside slowly emerge from the amniotic fluid-covered Almighty Footbag Vagina

I definitely saw a good amount of stepping clippers bs midstring.

Oh man, my game is starting to feel so good. Can't wait to play again!

I think I fixed it. I believe it was my dragons and xdb soles. I've been straightening my knee out now and they actually feel better and my knee doesn't point inward anymore. The ice was just for my old pain from doing improper xbd soles and dragons. I'm going to ice it for the next few days and get the miniscule remaining pain out of my leg. I think my new way of doing xbd sole and dragon is going to be much better for my legs.

My game keeps getting more flipside glue involved. I'm pretty damn happy right now.

A few big highlight from just screwing around before class:

flipside flapper stall reverse swirls are mine. I hit about 4/5.

My flip swirls are also 4/5. This goes for both flipside reverse swirl & flipside swirl. My timing on them has gotten so much nicer.

Last cool thing of that short session... I can now hit flapper stall reverse swirling flapper stall both sides with bare feet.

Solo session in the middle of a lit but cold breezeway.

Highlights:

head stall> blind sole> dyno (BOTH SIDES!)

knee bump> ducking opp kneebump> kneebump> back roll> sole dyno

Head stall> anchor reverse swirl!!!! (Way stoked on this, it feels like it looks really cool)

Best string of the night and possibly ever: Whirling swirl> ducking clipper> stepping clipper> whirl> ducking clipper> reverse swirl> stepping clipper> flapper stall> reverse swirl> dropped on whirl

ended session with strong stepping clipper x3 and 1 flipside stepping clipper (I almost hit 2)

Looking forward to tomorrow. Session with Drew Martin at 7, since he's visiting his Mom and she lives close to my home town. Hooray for moms

Traveled back to my hometown with Tyler to meet up with Drew Martin (visiting his Mom, who lives near my parents, and wanted to play some footbag).

Really fun session.

Drew, of course, tore it up. Had a lot of sick new tricks I'd never seen from him before. Also his spinning is looking so much better.

Tyler's now back into freestyle, and it's so cool to see it happen right before my eyes. Spinning for him looks so much better too. He's stringing longer and stronger.

The Mont Clare kids (Jackson, Luis, Chris) are all practicing their asses off, and that's also sick to see.

Corey Gerges is getting good. Hit terrage BSOS

The kids got this new kid, Aaron, into kicking and he hit his first ATW's tonight.

Oddly enough, we recruited a NEW FOOTBAG PLAYER. This kid with a big beard came up to us tonight while we were kicking and asked to join us. We were more than happy to have him in our circle. Little did we know, this kid had all the basic stalls under his belt IN SANDALS!!!!

His name is Steve and he said he's going to get a pair of Lavers soon. So badda-bing-badda-boom new footbag player. Woot!

My highlights:

filled tonight's session with stepping clippers bs. They all felt so good. I can tell this is becoming an easier trick for me.

So I've realized I talk to my footbags like I'm in a porno. While washing a bag I caught myself saying, "Who's a dirty bag? You are, aren't you? I'm gonna wash all that dirt and shit off of you." If you add "bitch" to the end of "aren't you?", I might as well be in Fresh Young Meat Vol 7.

Anyway, I had a break between classes today and I drilled the living crackers out of my flipside swirls ad rev swirls. Good things came out of it:

flip swirls are getting so much better

flip rev swirls are DOWN. I have them figured the heck out finally.

Hit swirl> rev swirl BSOS for the first time. Mega happy about that.

head stall> inside rake is butter for me now

Really fun, yet not very productive session tonight with Bob n Zach.

some varieties of heel stalls

okay amounts of stepping clippers, dlo bs, and pdx dlo

footed torque, Bob finally confirmed I was doing it correctly

ended the session on a clean FLIPSIDE rev-up, which kinda made my night

Like I said, nothing special, but a fun night with some good friends

Most likely kicking with Jackson and Corey this weekend, possibly some of the other young shredders too. Session with Brian and Bob on Saturday.

Thats whack dude about the girl/party situation, i know how you feel. I had a similar situation a couple months back at a party where I was about to smash some girl (who seemed cool, talked about hacky) but then she bailed with A CAR WITH FILLED WITH DUDES to another party. pretty sure thats why that gay 4loko shit is banned in ma.

Should have ran to the clinic after that went down. Just play footbag really loud every night while your roomate trys to sleep or bone his mom on your washing machine. fuck neighbors anyways.

Had an early session with Bob and Brian. Brian and I settled things about dispute over a bag I thought he stole from me a while ago and whatnot. Turned up being a very fun and positive session, except for when Bob made me do pushups for accidentally passing the bag the wrong way... fucker
