New balance ct520

So I was reading through some of the older threads and found that the new balance ct520's give better support than lavers. The only problem is I can't find a place to buy them. Are they still in production? Or just get lavers, I was also looking for more grip in the sole. However mind u I have not had either of these shoes before so if I am wrong about grip/support please let me know.

Crap, well do g units have more grip/support than lavers. If not I'm getting me some lavers. And also, I hear that g units can cause bad form, is that true? Thx for the help

learning your basics with g-units can cause bad form, because the catching surfaces do a lot of the work for you. it should be your body doing most of the work to perform the stall. I use G-units cause they help me play everyday, I was getting really sore in Lavers and quantums. I do like to keep my form in check with the occasional laver or quantum session. Get a pair of lavers and g-units if you can afford it

Lol, I learned all my basic stalls and kicks and around the world and stuff in running shoes that suck more than my vacuum and a 32 I made. I now want to get serious and get the proper shoes but I have some knee problems so I'm hesitating to buy lavers. I have my own orthotics. In your opinion would the lavers work or should I save my knees with a pair of g units? Thx in advance

key word there is CAN, not DOES cause...
of course bad form is possible with any shoe as is good form.
I have been playing in lavers and quantums for 2 years and g-units for 6 months-year. I personally think you will be fine with lavers if you have good insoles and only use them for footbag. good form helps too.

K thx, and one last question. Do the g units have better clipper/toe surfaces? I guess this could be opinion but what do u think?

in my opinion the catching surfaces on clipper and toe are better on the g-unit, but setting out of them is more troublesome. the toe can be bucket like and the clipper can stick a little too much.

The gunit is a better shoe if you can find them in your size.

Are g units still in production? I have only seen one pair on some foreign site but I can't read it to see if it is in stock.
