Competition question: for people competing in routines, should we email an mp3 of our song ahead of time? Should we bring a copy on a flash drive? Bring out ipod?

plan on problems with music

the best plan would be for someone with skill to arrive and be the dj with their own laptop. Otherwise plan on audio issues. = Just please somebody come with a laptop ready to run everyones stuff./ Scott D uses an apple and has been know to cause issues.

Yeah... last year we had a pretty ghettofied set up for audio. An iPod connected to small speakers which were positioned in front of a microphone, which then went through the PA...

My suggestion would be to bring your music on your iPod and hope for the best. You can send it to me if you want a back up, PM me for my email address.

I really don't want to lug my laptop around on top of everything else.

Speaking of ghettofied, I should have some spare rope from net courts I built over the summer. I should have enough for a 4S or pair of 2S courts for picks-up games & such. The only thing I never seem to have...

Music

Scott always rents big speakers with a connection for ipod or other.
There have only been problems twice. Once the cord was missing to connect ipods, another time the speakers were a day late.

Scott's running routines, emailing him would be good to check.

The hotel and shred location are attached and indoors.
For those of us walking to chinatown (or even walking to the car to drive to chinatown if there are enough cars), and for the possible sightseeing on Monday (in lieu of the usual last minute reasonably priced conference center), it's cold; bring warm coats.

Also I'm thinking of running circle on sunday. Sign up Saturday during the day. I'll have a sheet at the desk, or come see me if you don't see it.

And you know we're gonna do a 2 square event too. Steve looks like he's in good shape from those Stanford Xmas vids, and Seb will be here too! not to mention Zeke and Mathieu. I hope to beat you all even with my slight injury.

there should be a non violence rule at nyj. Kolo got attacked in a square court and im sick of seeing physical attacks over and over. I saved kamil a few years back from getting his ankle sprained and everyone else was watching?
