What's the problem? You can't run flash? You need Flash Player 10 http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and to view PDF files you need a PDF reader like Adobe Reader http://get.adobe.com/reader/
I thought these were pretty common on all the bigger platforms (win, mac, linux) :(

Ya, I have flash player 10 installed, and it is not working for me. I can use flash programs on line etc etc, but the file for the pattern generator is not working. I don't seem to have the option to pick a flash application and open the file with it.

Any thoughts?

very strange.
it works perfectly for me! i haven't tried the downloadable version yet though.
i use firefox, maybe try a different browser ? ? ?

On Windows you can open the downloaded swf in flash player. I've never used a Mac so I don't know anything about it. I hoped that going for Flash was the best option for cross-platform compatibility. Guess I was wrong :(

Maybe you could try opening the file in a web browser?

opening the programm in a web browser works!
even offline!
