Super productive ultra mini cold as hell frozen hair session:

Pretty much dialed my flipside spinning clippers. Near the end of my session, I hit 5 in a row.

Spinning xbd rake (never done this before, don't know why)

A few CLEAN Vortex's. I'm really feeling them out.

Also same deal with GDLO's. Madd CLEAN, hand catch, bam, whattupppp???

Lots of Dustpans. Slowly figuring out different little tricks to get better at these.

NYJ in 4 days!!!

Keep it short, keep it sweet...

Taught Luis Atomic Sets! The only 13 year old I've ever seen hit a DECENT Atomic Set. He's got the hip rotation for them. So through teaching him...

Highlights:

Atomic ss Mirage!!! BS!!!!! (Tapping Mirage, correct?)

So we both learned Atomic together. It was awesome. And just in time for AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!~!~!~!~!~!!!~~~!!~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEW YEARS JAM!~!!!~~!~~~!!!!! We're leaving tomorrow morning!!!!! This is going to rule!!!!

Totally speechless about NYJ. We recorded a video of our road trip to Chicago. Video will be up soon enough. Zach/NickP squared/Jackson + NYJ in Chicago = AMAZING. I took so much video there. Can't wait to get it up on here.

We all took so much out of NYJ from all the great players we met there. With this being my fourth and furthest traveled tournament, I met so many new faces and I was a big fan of all of them.

Anyway, Highlights:

On the trip there, we stopped in Columbus, Ohio, to shred with Danny Petrick and Ryan (Jiffy on modified). Jiffy had never seen anyone freestyle except for Pasquar. This really inspired Ryan and it was so cool to meet and kick with Danny

Evan Gatesman taught me some tricks for stepping and after he showed me I was able to get my stepping so high, I could duck it on both sides to a toe stall (more to come soon, but I need to work on my stepping clippers first).

Brian Bear complimented my game, told me to keep it up, and taught me some easy concepts that I never used- gyro clipper (both sides) and zooming sole (Strong so far, gonna drill zooming). I've been really liking the gyro clippers

This oldskool dude from Indiana showed me how to do really nice shoulder rolls, which I'm going to start trying to incorporate

Played with [uns] rolls and finally figured out the sweet spot. Now I've been incorporating way more rolls

Competed in open circle with Matt K, Seb, and Joey, and I ALMOST looked like I belonged. Now I know where my game needs to be to be in open. In the circle, I hit my first anchor kick and everyone seemed to love it.

REALLY dialed my Revsteins. I hit 1 on the first night, one on the second night, and 5 in a matter of 10 minutes the day after the tourney.

DOUBLE SPINNING CLIPPER!!!!!!! Finally!!!! Bear influenced me on this one

Toe stall> far twist (learned these by watching Doug Tank, thanks for indirectly helping me with these man!)

Got some good stitching tips from Zach that he got from Bear

Nick Pasquarello hit Toe Blur the first time he'd ever tried it! That was awesome, to see. Zach hit a bunch of new stuff that I can't remember, but it was all really sick. And he's got almost flawless flip pixies now. Jackson's style and game really stepped up.

NYJ really impacted the crew and I and we're going to drill so hard starting this week.

I can't explain how fun and what a great experience this was. If you didn't go, you fucked up.

u and nick p and your damn sonic clippers.lol that shit is sooo awesome. when i try that, shelfs fall down and pictures break.lol i envy you on your swirl game. dont make any sense but im closer to hit swirling spinning butter than i am rev or rip.lol i think is cause you need lots of control with double dexs. so you got to tell me the tricks of stepping high enough to duck. ive been trying to hit that for ever. ill trade a move for a move.lol you probally know all my moves thou. keep shredding man.

Didn't shred at all today. BUT...

Two non-footbag highlights:

I had my first lucid dream last night where I could actually FLY. I've been practicing this for some time now, but the best I've done so far is hover. I actually FLEW ABOVE people's heads in this dream. It was a life changing event for me. I've reached my astral projecting/lucid dreaming goal. Now I have to try to keep it going.

Got to try out my new slackline. It rules.

Gonna go practice Lucid dreaming again.

Tomorrow... I drill.

Drilled my ass off tonight...

Highlights:

50 Flip Pixies & 50 Strong Pixies

100 Flip Clipper> Flapper Stall> Clipper

3 Revsteins: 1 hand catch... 1 to start a small string... 1 midstring

2 Ripsteins: both to a hand catch

Screwed around and hit some smooth Dustpans

Walked slackline today and landed my first Ollie. Slackline is slowly taking a passenger seat next to footbag. Footbag will always drive the car though. Can't wait til I get good at Slackline. My ultimate goal is to be able to slack while footbagging. MEGA COOOLLL

So today, I shredded with Jackson, Nick P, Zach, and Luis.

One main highlight:

Flip Smear (Finally..) Need to drill flip pixies some more

Also stitched (*Angels sing*)

My 18th bag! I named it "Sylvester"... because it looks like a "Sylvester" (Festive, I know)

Edit: Nick P helped me figure out Pdx Dlo... He mentioned one thing to me and immediately, I was able to fix it and I couldn't stop hitting them... Bob, if you're reading this... NO MORE RUN-ENDER

Haha Im about to get a shred in right now for about an hour just to loosen up the legs. After NYJ I was so dead but I continued to shred each day until friday and suprisingly my legs never got worse, they only felt better! It was awesome getting to shred with you, hopefully in the future we will meet and shred again!

K, so I just had a shred/drill session with Jackson in the attic.

Things I've accomplished:

Drills: 50 Osii bs / 50 Dynos bs (ended session on 5 repetitions of Dyno>Dyno) / 15 Stepping clippers bs (Aimed for more but legs started to hurt)

Got my footage for the online LUNS competition, hit a pretty cool unusual surface link. You'll just have to wait til the video comes out

( HINT: there's a 5-add in there that I've never hit before today)

Hit Revstein first try while Jackson wasn't looking, just to see if I could do it. Kinda cool he didn't see it because I just did that one for myself. I didn't even tell him what I hit when he asked

My Dad and I both finished another bag, My 19th, his 2nd. We kicked it around and he learned some more stuff. Still getting his basics down right now, but he's improving. These are our father-son Lavers/stitched footbags.

Footed Atom Smasher twice!

bob told him to ail stepping ss clippers bs before going on to ripwalk. I started doing the same thing.. haven't done very many ripwalks in a while but when I do, they feel a lot better

@Zach: They weren't right after each other. They were throughout the session.

@Nick: Stepping ss clippers all the way. I'm going to keep doing them and not doing ripwalks until I feel COMPLETELY confident in them on both sides.

@The General 422 Crew: I CLEANED OUT MY ATTIC!!! It's got no more clothes/bullshit everywhere and there's so much room now. Wait til you guys see it.

Had a session with my Dad and Jackson earlier. Not too much new stuff from me but my Dad is hitting toe stalls bs like a champ, and insides. He's got incredible crank! He also hit his first flapper stall! I think it r[UNS] in the family.

I tried to drill spinning clippers, but almost threw up after around 15 of them. Too dizzy.

Then tonight, I had a shred session with Nick P and Corey. Some good stuff came out of it.

Hit Revstein a good handful of times

Had a lot of good longer runs with BSOS Dynos, BSOS clipper near double pickups, Tapping mirage, and other sweet stuff.

Out to hang out with some of my old non-footbag friends now. Haven't chilled with those guys for a while... probably because they don't play footbag :\ That sucks to say, but it's true. I think my footbag friends and more exciting than my non-footbag friends, just because my non-foot bag friends just watch tv, smoke a lot of pot, and play video games. It sucks. But I still like hanging out with each group, I just feel I have a tighter bond with my footbag friends. OUT.

I can relate to this so much. When I am with my old pre-footbag friends & they ask me what I've been up to, its like "learning this new downtime component where I have to... oh nevermind."

Thanks for bringing your crew out to NYJ. Keep kicking with Reifer, and do what he tells you. Hahahaha. He knows what he's talking about.
