beast solo session today. bob told me to shred in a tighter area, so since its getting cold an my basement is a 5x10 foot area between a giant freezer an a washer an dryer i started playing there. The tight area seems to make me do tighter dexs an forces me to have great control over my bigger set tricks.

so the session was 3 hours. I focused on my flip an long controlled tiltless strings in the confined area.

everything seemed to work for me tonight.

 lots of 30-40+ contact strings.
 pixie diving >same out >op toe
 flip swirl
 6X very controlled ripwalks.
 ripwalk>swil>ripwalk>ripwalk>spinning osis> into a titless string.
 fairy spinning toe
 sidewalk ended on dragon
 quantum op osis
 quantum same osis
 quantum op butterfly>ripwalk
 quantum op butterfly>toe>rpt X5
 quantum op mirage ( toe blur??? ) i was stoked on this.
 flip quantums after 50 attempts of my leg not doing what i wanted it to.
 flip quantum op butterfly
 dozen nice high stepping sets to my hand... i want to get better at this more then any of my other sets im working on, it feels so awesome.
 footed jani walker my set is there but i feel like i land with my double dexing leg to far out from an behind my body making the butterfly hard. i am gonna keep drilling this set an get it down.
 shooting same butterfly
 shooting op butterlfy
 few sailing sets to my hand an a bunch to same toe.
 few nice nuclear sets to op toe, 2 nice high ones.

gonna keep drilling an make the most out of a resent boom in my progress.

dude, you're going to be so good if you continue working hard and taking coaching as well as you have so far. nice work. I'll be back saturday, and could play as soon as Monday, or on Wednesday of this week.

i have to restart this blog or find a good way to be organized about it. i should be posting in here more often just to keep records.

i had a awesome session last Wednesday with Bob, Drew, an Nick an then another session with Corey, Jackson, an Nick. i cant remember everything, but i do know i did some sweet shit that day.
 blender ripwalk X2
 nuclear op butterfly FIRST NUKE SET an it was awesome :)
 atomsmasher>atomsmasher this also was really clean, another first

was a lot more good stuff out of me, but its been a holiday an some drinks since then... so i dont recall.

so my legs healed up good by saterday so i gave a challange bob gave, a try... hit 20 consecutive ripwalks.. i got 14 an my legs hurt so i stoped. for sure the most i ever did, an right out of the gate.

sunday 11/28 i went to the gym an did almost a solid hour of core an lower back work outs. really felt good
this morning i woke up an was quite surprise to not be sore in my core an only slightly tense in my back. so i stretched an hit the gym again... great way to spend a rainy day. now im comfortable sore, an i feel strong an as tho im making gains.

footbag session with bob an nick tomorrow in the barn.

oh, 12/2 had a small 20 min session at a friends while everyone played with a new kitten...
leggbeater>blender>blurry whirl

SHRED FIRE!!!! i felt like the bag should have ignited after these combos. feeling really good an strong. hitting the gym to do core an back training, then footbaging in the gyms entrance hall with andrew santucci.

so andrew a kid a gave lavers to is doing well. played a small session where i just practiced rakes with him.

then a friend matt is also doing well. he hit outside stall>ducking>op outside an his duck was legit. then he got outside stall>same clipper.
im gonna make him a bag an hope he sticks with it. he seems interested enough.

i had a half wasted session while with matt. did symp mirage X2 for the first time. thats really only fresh thing i hit.

hoping to meet up with nick in his home town this weekend with andrew an maybe matt... think that would be a good time. hoping all the new talent i found an all the new talent nick found will bind together an feed off each others energy an progress to the next level with me an nick coaching them along the way to footbag Valhalla.

YAY Footbag :)

my first blog post in the new year.

this year i want to play footbag no matter what life throws at me.. job or other hobbies will not steer me away from my aim at becoming a consistent guiltless player.

today me an bailey went to phonixsville to shred in nicks attic.

nicks really stepping his game up. his strings are getting much longer with bigger stuff.

i didn't really play that much, we spent more time playing darts an watching novices play that we didn't play, but at one point i had a opening an i did get a good sweat worked up.

Dye - Nike
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2usqMgt8A4
ive been toying with this as a routine song for a little bit. I want to participate in routines an be at least fun to watch.. i started playing to the same few songs i selected an even rewind to hit combos in correct beats.

so i put this song on the player an did a almost drop less routine to it.
i got some great combos in as well.

in the wee morning hours i took a break from stitching an gave myself what i thought was going to be a bit of a challenge. 50 alternating pixie legovers, if i dropped i didn't alternate till i hit it. I thought this was going to be difficult since my flip pixies aren't solid, but by the end of the 50 my weak side pixie legover was more consistent feeling then my strong side.

Image

i dont normally drill... but i think im gonna start.
if anyone wants to give me a challenge ill give it a try.

Nice, good stuff. I've never thought about it, but I like the idea of using a whiteboard for drilling.

Ya, I got the idea from bob. It helps you with your goal when you can look an see what you've accomplished so far.

Going north to meet a Tim an a Ryan with nick. Can't wait to shred an bust out a few things in my mind.

I need a good video camera
I need to start drillng ten or so tricks an get stupid consistant with them.
I need to practises my routine
