Crazy Day. Long Day. Started at 5am when I got a call from my wife saying she was stuck in the drive. At 8:30 I finally freed the vehicle. Not enough
time for my work out like I had planned. Call friend for ride to meeting and get ready. After the meeting I steal a few minutes for a ten minute
trainer.
10 Minute Cardio
No time for footbag as we have an appoitment with Natel's cousin. Head to that. Out of town until 10pm. Get home and sadly check off only the 10 minute
portion of today's workout while trying to decide if I should count missing my footbag workout as a break in the streak. Just as I decide that I should
call it a break, Natel mentions that I could do my footbag now. I'm dead tired, but I didn't want to break my streak and I enjoy footbag, so I figure
what the hell! Thanks for the motivation hunny!
I strap on my quantums and hit the music as she heads to bed. About 30 minutes.
spinning switch [new trick on both sides]
-first ever spinning to toe move (I started it on clipper)
-Also... not sure if that's actually what it is called. clip>spin>legover
tried to duck a flying clipper. lol How comical.
did 30 pushups throughout the day. Ate terribly... McDonalds, ribs, rootbeer. Uhhgh.

Ten Minute Cardio
Ten Minute Lower Body
Ten Minute Abs
I picked up some protein powder today. It tastes pretty awful but hopefully I will see some extra results with it. My research shows it should help build muscle (Honestly not too worried about this except that it will help with...) and burn more fat. Does anyone have experience with them

Personally, I never bought into all that stuff. Work your butt off, eat healthy, repeat. If weight isn't coming off, one of four things is wrong:
- you're not working hard enough
- your intake is wrong
- your body just hasn't caught up yet
- you're body is one that cannot be fixed (i.e. chemical imbalance, genetics etc.).
Getting back in shape is supposed to suck. It's to remind you to never to get out of shape again. Sort of like quitting smoking. It should be horrible, therefore you'll never want to go through it again.
Also, the importance of rest in a workout schedule should not be overlooked. I understand you're dying to undo weight gain - but the pounds did not jump onto you instantly, and they will not jump off you instantly either. If you wear yourself out to the point of injury, or to falling off the wagon with exhaustion... that's counterproductive. The key is lifestyle change for the long term.
Now, of course, I'm no expert and need to follow my own advice (I did great for over a year, built a barn... fell down as a result... and am back on a great track for several months now), but I can tell you that consistency and dedication will eventually work.
But I'm butting in where I may not be wanted. I don't intend to be a pain in the butt or anything, just trying to help.

Bob R.
Bob, don't worry about voicing your opinion. I asked for it and I didn't stipulate that I only wanted it if you agreed with me. Lol. I feel I am working pretty hard and am happy with the results seen so far. I've lost 15 lbs. I figured if there was a way to accelerate the process then why not? Plus there was a sale...
No lunch workout today.
10 minute yoga flex, total body and cardio.
Note to self... Bottle of pepsi before workout equals bad!
Also, I think I need to think more about Bob's comment on rests place in wing out. My current plan has me working multiple times a day 4 days a week with no rest days at all.
Workout streak: 17 days

Worked the Lower Body pretty hard at lunch.
New record of Pushups: 23 (man style just so my future self nows)
Ten Minute Total Body
Ten Minute Cardio
Ten Minute Lower Body (ouch)
I think I've decided to take a week off of Ten Minute after this week is done (it marks the end of a one month schedule). I'll do other workouts and lifting during the week off. Also I will give myself one scheduled day off that will not break my streak because I think my body needs it. After the week of no TMT I will do the Advanced month of TMT. It adds upper body, core cardio and some other workouts I haven't done yet. Then... P90X. I hate Tony Horton.

Lunch workouts was a decent mix of muscle groups, but no squats. Hit a new pushup record of 26. I'm pushing forward and my current goal is to hit 100. I'm gonna throw a date on that goal right now. Hmmm.... Sept 15, 2011.
Tonight was TMT Yoga Flex. Nice and easy. Well, relaxing at least. Not easy.

Seems I forgot to post yesterday:
TMT Cardio
30 Pushups!
Footbag. Worked on my flip clipper. I think balance and positioning is a huge factor there. I've noticed that in Yogo poses, I can balance easily on my right leg, but have trouble on my left. My left leg is my support foot for flip clipper. How can I expect to perform a proper clipper if I don't have a solid support leg.

TMT Total Body
TMT Lower Body
TMT Cardio
I am getting to the point that I can really push on alot of the workouts now. I look forward to taking it to a new level after this week, but will also miss being able to put the intensity level I can now, knowing how to do all the moves.

First day of my week off from 10 Minute Trainer,
Did mostly footbag. My flip clipper is killing my, but I'm determined to get it feeling good by the time I move onto trying to advance my skill. Flip dexes still feel silly too. No way I can do sets from over there. Time.
After footbag I did some pushups. Didn't get to my record, but came relatively close. I did some light yoga poses. And some band military presses, as well as something i call cross legged arm reach. It's an ab workout.
