ya definetly lose the plant on pdx whirl.
On drifters I think you need to keep your torso centered more so you don't turn as much. You shouden't need to turn as much to catch the bag. That will help on doing consecutive drifters, blurry drifters, smoke vortex etc. Watch clavens
Same thing for the dlos but for torques I think you should set higher and do them less midtime, especially on strong. It's sort of a personal preferance more then a critique but I just think they look way better full downtime. you should work on consecutive torques, stepping and zooming out of them to gain more control.
keep it up yo.

Session tonight with Zach in the gym.
Taped with Zach's new camera. Didn't get anything too sick, but it was cool to see one of my Mobius on highspeed
Zach hit some sweet stuff, like Toe blur and ripwalk> inspinning osis.
Highlights:
A few strong side (footed 2 weak side) Pdx Torques (in video below)
A few strong side (footed 2 weak side) Mobii (in video below)
Vortex (feels smoother than ever)
G.Y.B.A.S. bs (both now feel real smooth)
Ripstein (just to see if it was still there)
Mobius & Pdx Torque:

So new news with me:
1) Zach, Bob, and I are holding a jam sometime this winter/spring/both. We need to discuss it yet, but you will be hearing about in the future.
2) I stitched a bag for Mark Monistere (huge inspiration for me in footbag), who is trading me a pair of Quantums and a pair of Nucleus that don't fit him any longer. Really excited to get the shoes and for him to receive my bag so he can give me honest feedback.
3) I've really taken a break this whole week. No shred at all. Legs feel tip top. Really stoked on it.
4) New tricks feel like they're right around the bend for me.
5) I've noticed that I can string until I get to my flip toe, then I go all stupid and do dumb things and drop the bag. I'm trying to concentrate on that now, and I've worked with pixies and fairies throughout the week (low impact practice) and I'm really starting to get better with my fairy sets.
6) Not footbag related... I've been talking to this girl recently. She asked me out to coffee the other day and we went and had an awesome time together. Another coffee date thing planned for this Tuesday. I feel like she really digs me. And I definitely dig her. Wish me luck.
We roll.
(That wasn't a very cool way to say "bye"... we roll? Really lame actually. I'm not good at these things. Let's try again...)
Let's get BOUNCE!
...Holy shit, that sucked too. I'll work on these...
Uh... later.

...Perhaps I was drinking....
Anyway, I'm doing a shitload of homework right now and needed a break. So I messed around with some new concepts of mine, flipside Fairy and flipside Pixie.
Fairy muted op clipper bs
Pixie muted op clipper bs
The other day, I hit:
Fairy Butterfly (strong only)
Fear (Strong only, but footed it flipside)
Smear bs
Nothing special on either day, I know, but both concepts are relatively new to me.
Homework time!

SHUT DOWNNN!!!! That's the coolest trick with the new system.
Ok so, I should be shredding with Bob, Zach, and Brian tonight, but I have a date! Pretty hyped. She's really cute, and cool to talk to. I stitched her a footbag and she wants to learn how to play. So that's a plus. Anyway, going to do that soon.
Before I left, I did some homework and then shredded solo in my room. Some sweet stuff came out of it.
Fear bsos (first time on flip)
Shut Down bs (first time on flip)
Fudge (strong only, weakside is almost there)
Smear bsos
Fairy ss pickup bsos
Ducked my strong Fairy, almost ducked my weak Fairy
Footed Fog (strong side)
She just called, I'm out. Peace bishes, wish me luck.

Thanks dude!
So tonight went so well! This girl is so rad. I really like her and she seems to like me too. Anyway, I'm excited.
So after the date, I shredded with my new room mate, Tyler Adam (who just moved in the other day because he needed a place to stay) and Zach. Tyler was pretty much just practicing his infiniteies. His style's looking better though. Zach was kicking well.
Highlights:
Fear bsos
Ripstein> Ripwalk
Ripwalk> Ripstein
Ripwalk> Ripwalk (2nd time hit)
Swirl> Twist> Ripstein
Butterfly Swirl> Torque
Ripwalk> Torque
Ripstein> Torque
handful of Mobii (these got easier)
My shred was feeling ON tonight. Needless to say, my Ripsteins are getting better. I was happy with what I was hitting.

Just received the package from Mark Monistere with a pair of Nucleus and a pair of Quantums. I like the Quantums, but I LOVE the Nucleus! These shoes should be the new Official [Uns] footbag shoe. It helps so much with flappers and my ripsteins feel tighter and my dynos are dynomite. And heel stalls are so sick with these. Can't wait to really test them out next time I shred. I'm so glad Mark sent them to me. Oh man, these are fucking magical. I just hit torque bs and it felt so smooth, smoother than Lavers.
Wow. I just put shorts on and walked outside to shred in the Nukes. I actually just got a new highlight that I've never hit before.
Ripwalk x3 !!! Woo! That's what I said too, I said "Woo!" I'm gonna go back out and see if I can hit x4...
Wow. Another new highlight! Drifter x3 !!! I've only ever hit x 2 I said yelled "Woo!" again too. Damn these shoes are excellent! I don't know why people were dissing them. To each their own. I'm gonna go hit 4 now.
Well I have class now, but I ended on flipside fear. I footed Drifter> Twist> Drifter. Definitely can hit that later.

Had a first legitimate session with my new Nukes and I am so stoked on them. They are magical. I was so effing ON today. I was stringing such sweet stuff together in possibly the longest guiltless strings I've ever hit before. No real highlights, but i was incorporating torques bs, drifter b2b, ripwalk> ripwalk, and a ton of other excellent stuff. I also recorded some footage for the new Shred Global Competition. I'm not totally hyped on what I caught, but tomorrow, I'm going to make it better.

A Fun-usual Blog: Nick Polini (Flip Ripstein, say what.)
I have a lot of homework to do tonight, but Tyler (who is now my new room mate) really wanted to shred (which is weird because I'm usually the one who asks him to shred), but he said if we did, we would only shred with 30 minutes. I agreed, and we walked down to a hallway and kicked for like 30 minutes. Great things came about. Tyler hit his first DLO! Again, and again, and again, and again.... He's really good at them and it was his first time hitting it haha
I hit:
FLIPSIDE RIPSTEIN!!!!! This made my.... um.. life. It felt like BuUUuUUuuTtEERrrRrrrrrr
Ripwalk> ripwalk (nothing special, but ripwalks are feeling better)
Back to homework.
Edit:
Finished my homework around 11 pm. Tonight's session, part II:
ripwalk x3 bs (a few times)
ripwalk x2 bs (many times)
footed Rip Tide (Would have hit it it I tried it earlier in session. Legs really tired when I tried it.)
Ripwalk> blur bs
Ripwalk> Torque bs
Dragonstein
(second one I've hit)
Fear bsos
Flapper> Solesis
footed stepping ducking osis (I was lazy with the osis in my Nukes and it was an example of a BAD FORM OSIS
Osis> Dragosis
Pixie muted Zipper
Swirling Zipper
footed Ripstein Zipper
I hit:
Back to homework.

Solo session tonight. I'm starting to get sick, so I didn't shred long.
Ripwalk x3 is getting way easier. I'm figuring out different tricks to help me hit more and more each time.
Blender bs a few times. I just need to work on my leg placement and remember to turn my body.
Re-learned dust pan. They're easier with Nukes, once you learn how they work.
Class. Early. Tomorrow... Love you. Bye.

Lots of homework tonight, but Tyler begged me to have a session with him before his date. So we kicked for literally 10 minutes haha It was the best super-short session we've both ever had. Tyler was stringing really well. Lots of butterflies bsos, legovers bsos, clippers bsos, and dlo's. He ended the session with a super clean dlo into a real nice tiltless string. I hit:
A really sweet, long guiltless string with fear bsos, torque bsos, zooming butterfly, stepping ss clipper bsos, ripwalk> ripwalk, spinning clipper and rev-up. (I forget the exact order, but that was the majority of it)
I said I was going to end my session on ripwalk> ripwalk first try, but instead I hit the first 2 easily so I kept going to a third and stepped into a 4th! That was totally awesome.
Ready for homework? You bet I'm not...

Session with Tyler tonight. He learned so much new stuff. Totally sick as hell shred tonight from him. He's really improving quickly! Check his blog out, he's going to be blogging pretty much every time I blog from now on. Tonight was pretty excellent on both of our parts.
Ripwalk x4!!!! Yeah baby!
Swirl> Ripwalk> Swirl (stooooookkkkeeedddd)
Whirl> Ripwalk
Drifter x2
Fairy ss mirage> Fairy muted op clipper
Blender bs
GYBAS
Dragonstein
footed Fairy Dyno
Sick session tonight. Quite pumped on it, especially for Tyler. That kid is getting good. Good job, Tyler... I just pet him on the head.
