Props on all the new big tricks Corey! Sick dude! Stoked for those PA May sessions!

I think the one I left on Jon's phone 9 seconds into this video was the epitome of awkward :P

Btw, good times. We all need to do that again soon.

Nick: Jon, John, and I were playing and than we stopped. Jon was like I got a call from Nick at like idk say 239. Then john was like 235 and then i was like 240. It was quite humorous if you were there so we made the person with the first call respond  You guys were pretty lost, though. Yeah we should do that again.

John: I always get a text from you in a place where Im supposed to have my phone off plus I didnt put a last initial so I have to decipher between you and another john. If youre every playing on like the weekend or something just text me.

Over an hour session today 0 dexs. Not counting consecutive atws i did eating beforehand. :( Kind of a half drilling half string day. Some of the combos i tried. Some I hit and some I didn't and are goals.

HIT
-spinning clip> gyro clip rpt
-spinning clip> ducking clip rpt
-weaving clip> gyro clip rpt
-diving clip> gyro clip rpt
-spinning clip> spinning osis rpt
-Some other bullshit combos and probably most of the with gyro clips switched to osii

MISSED(I figured once and a while I should post the embaressing stuff too)
-spinning ducking clip> spinning ducking butter> spinning ducking osis rpt
-weaving clip> diving clip (actually im not embaressed by that. That is hard!)

Oh and I tried some weird shit like calf surging, calf pendulous(which is possible these are not calf kicking) and calf swirling. Calf pendulous is the only one I can easily clear.

Oh DSC outside so I didnt have the spinning advantage of wood/fast floors

oggi ho colpito molto filando abbasando machinetta. mi piacce questo trucco. filando abbasando machinetta e il mio preferito trucco. anche io ho colpito un bello filando abbasando osis ma la allenamento di oggi era per filando abbasando nel suo complesso.

  That pretty much means I hit spinning duking stuff.

Hit less than 100 moves today. Grifters are the way to go. Drifters are too hard :?:

Things to get good at this summer
 grifters
I need something to replace drifters in my footbag arsenal and what better than the slightly "harder" counterpart?
 spinning ducking
Getting fairly consistent with this now. Right now they're really hit or miss but when they hit they're perfect.
 dynos
When I was a kid we would go to Pizza Uno. The name for the chicken nuggets was tiny dinos because the chicken nuggets were dinosaurs and tiny. Now in footbag I want dynos to be tiny like small little dexs. Just to flick my leg over the bag with ease and stuff.
 double downs
What good player is not good at double downs?
 stepping
Just because I want to ripwalk for like 5 straight minutes like that Damian video.

I think these are realistic goals. Challenge for myself. Hit the combo below by Aug 31st.
Scorpions Tail> Spinning Dyno> Spinning Ducking Clipper> Ripped Warrior> Grifter rpt
Not that hard of moves but the links

Just finished a session where I worked on bubbas, far legovers, illusions, an paradox illusions. Bubbas were feeling really easy as were far legovers and pdx illusions. Are you kidding? Grr! You cant do repeats so that kind of limited what I did but this was just buildup for grifters. Sending Jorden a video later on in the week of grifters and I dont want them to look that bad. Cramming for a test.   New camera should allow me to make videos now to download some software or something and film.

Corey, to learn grifters you need to be training drifters.
These other moves you're working on for it don't have the same angles or timing. Grifter requires more gluteal flexibility because the dex is higher than regular illusion.

Practice your drifters and far drifters. Grifter has the exact same timing as drifter, but the dex has to occur faster because you have to go over then UNDER the bag.

Stretch your glutes by putting the outstep of your foot (think inside stall position, foot on opposite side of body) on an elevated surface and bring your forehead towards your foot. Hold 30+ seconds and switch sides. Do this daily.

Thanks Jorden! The stretch does help and after playing yesterday I thought about how drifters might help but I didnt think they would. Mirage doesn't help with illusion so I'll try these tips out again tomorrow.

Past couple days hit a couple cool that were really flukey. Orangutan and pd x fluxscrew that latter which felt really legit. One cool link was spinning clipper> grifter and I tried to hit mobius after it but I'm not that cool.Illusions spinning and ducking is the shit as is footbag. Really having fun right now just going like 3-10 moves and trying a hard move then drilling some smaller version of that move and just doing that like 5 times a session. :D

I was counting on midnight shred but there are people in my house so I will watch lots of footbag videos and drill tootsie rolls. But anyway if you're reading this give me challenges in this thread. Spinning ducking and illusion stuff.
Examples
-flux>spinning ducking osis rpt
-reverse anoxia
-spinning clipper> pdx illusion> flux rpt

Stuff like that. Please! The challenges I came up with suck! Preferably really easy challenges so I can feel good about myself cuz I have alot of challenges I thought of that I cant hit.

bubbeabeater> eggbeater> grifter rpt
blizzard> eggbeater> flux> rpt
flail> eggbeater> fairy ss illusion rpt
flux> gyro illusion rpt
flail> eggbeater> atomic illusion rpt
grifter> bubbabeater rpt
flux> grifter rpt
royale> grifter rpt
reverse vortex> reverse void rpt
ps flail> flux rpt
reverse voodoo
reverse anoxia
bedwetter
symp mantis
grifter>ducking pdx illusion> flux rpt
spinning illusion> grifter rpt
orangutan bsos
mantis> pixie illusion> flux rpt
flux> bubbabeater> grifter rpt
spinning pdx illusion> ss flail> ducking ingyro clipper rpt
ducking pdx illusion> grifter> spinning osis rpt
spinning ducking pdx illusion> orangutan> pendulous double dyno> spinning ducking butter> spinning butterfly swirl> spinning ducking osis rpt

:? What was I thinking when I wrote that? 8O Can 1 person on planet Earth hot sd pdx illusion> fairy egg> pend. double dyno? Mantis> pixie illusion> flux? Yeah why would I think I could hit those? lolz

Went back to spinning and ducking stuff, it is just too fun. Spinning butters were really smooth and the dex fell into place. I had quite a few runs where I just decided to throw spinning clipper x5 in it and just keep going. Hit a few mariuses which were cool. I tried some of those xbd toe to toe things that schneider does and that was fun. I like those. Calf stalls are the shit. Nobody does them. :? They are easier than calf kicks. Oh well. I had a couple legit dsc but I want clipper x(some high number 38 50 or 100) and spinning ducking clipper x17

Absurd session today!!! My whirls are going to be scary good soon. Both sides are a little choppy but yeah. Diving gyro is awesome. I should start doing stepping. I have always avoided it since I do not know if it is clean.

Ugh. Got a lot of footbag shit on my mind. Ugh.

 I really disagree with like 50% of like posts these last two weeks. Maybe 4/20 really messed with some people. I kind of think there joking. I can not help but laugh at how much I disagree with some people.
 Is it me or does everyone that posts now have a spin based style? Maybe it is just the people that I watch but like that guy mark, polini, monhollon, me, and ken was trying to hit mob-mob, and bear are all hitting like similar moves and whatnot. I see them talkimg about stuff I was hitting a week ago and vice versa. Kind of lame, but whatever.
 Whenever I watch a video and it has runs in it I kind of assume that the player always plays at that level. Am I wrong? I feel like when I play with somebody I always watched i feel like it might be like that cliche cartoon scene where the kid finds out somebody he looke up to was a douchebag. Hmm. But I'm not making any vacations soon.
 So for a long time IMO my least favorite player to watch was erik chan. Soooooooo boring. Slit your wrist boring. Whenever I would watch him I would say "Hit more ducking clippers n00b." or "This should be a popup virus. You suck!" Funny I feel like I play like the guy now  and I hit some cool stuff I think. Kind of the same thing with Allan Haggett. I mean he is good but looks like shit when he plays. I am nowhere near as good as either of them but I can see some similarities.
 I've been really cocky lately as you can probably tell.
 I don't give a fuck about "big moves" anymore. I just want to throw down!" You know? I guess that means like everybody in like a 20 ft radius of me knows when I get the bag shit is gonna be hit.
 I fucking hate when give props for certain stuff. It just seems people give props for the wrong stuff. Wow! Did I just criticize the props other people give to people I've never played with.
 I have that strange drive to be absurd at footbag but there are so many things I suck at. Drifter and stepping. I will conquer them!
 What is whirlygig? There is another trick I always see being talked about but I forgot the name.

Yeah. Props if anyone read that.

hit a bunch of gyro butterfly moves all on one side. My flip was not working. I wasn't spinning far enough.
Here are a couple of highlights some are just move I hit when I was trying something else. I'll try my best to explain them.
Gyro down dragon
Gyro down zipper
Gyro wauxpin (not sure if this is new. I was into wauxpins for like 2 days a while back)
Gyro sidewalk (pure luck and it hurt and didn't look cool)
**** ******* ***** (not sure if it is clean. It'll been in a video if I can ever get around to making one.) I think you should be able to guess what it is though.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Gyro Weaving Shaft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Played about 4 hours today and will probably play another 1-3 later with John Goode and some people. At points I was just falling down midstring. :D After about 3 hours I was dexing except for butterflies because I was pretty sore. My ducking got a lot worse. Going hard later though. My only highlights so far today were the best string ever. The string probably wasn't the best one I've had but I really liked it. I also hit gyro diving osis first try. That trick usually takes a couple of attempts so I was happy about that. My legs were looking pretty jacked too, which was pretty awesome. Spinning osis> infinity was a combo I was hitting throughout the session. I never really hit that combo so I was happy I guess. I also hit a few ripwalks but I need to drill infinities and stuff more before I can get ripwalk solid. Peace.

So I woke up today played loads of footbag and watched Ricky moran videos from like 930-11. After this I watched some tv. I then decided to make some chicken fingers and watched Honza's video. If that was clavens hitting the same moves everyone would be sucking his dick. Anyway I played some more and hit some of the highlights in the previous post.
This is where the fun begins. So I have one last small session. My spinning ducking was on! I then proceeded to take a nice cold shower. After that I threw on the lavers, grabbed some coins, grabbed some cod bags, and the keys and left. I arrived at ShopRite with $13.85 in coins and quickly mad that into cash. After buying gas I drove to Ramapo.
The trip was great. I made one wrong turn but a kind fellow let me make a U-Turn. I was back on my way and as I pulled into the Ramapo parking lot I realized this blue jeep was following me. Shit! How do I lose them in a parking lot? After going of course and totally fucking up my directions and stopped to see what this lady had to say. The bitch said "You have a tail light out." Fuck you! I let her go in front of me and continued on. After numerous calls and one angry guard I finally reached my destination.
I hit some cool stuff such Spinning ducking clipper and gyro diving osis in the same run. I had one solid run. Oh, I hit spinning clipper x10 or something like that while we were waiting around. I received some tips and odd comparisons to other players. I could not hit dsc to save my life I had it on my footbag and had an epic fall. Blah blah blah.
I got in my car and started to drive home. I wasn't taking any risks in fucking Ramapo. So once I got onto the highways I was going fast. I am almost home and a see a police SUV. No problem. He pulls out after me. We come to a light and I have to break. Shit! My tail light is out. Phew he made a right. Made it home unscathed.

Hit any of my challenges yet?
Footbagger007 wrote:  Is it me or does everyone that posts now have a spin based style? .
Made my day to be mentioned under this. I sucked at spins for over 10 years, and only in the last couple years have I started getting the hang of it. I'd like to end up being a player whose primary style is spinning.
Footbagger007 wrote:

Depends on the video really. My blog videos are a decent reflection of how I play, since it's a bunch of typical highlights from any given session. When I hit something really good though, I stash away the clip until I'm ready to make a well-edited video, and then I stick all my best stuff on there. So for example, upular and my JFA fundraiser videos are almost completely made up of stuff that I can't normally do. So extrapolating from that, I usually assume that well made videos that span multiple sessions probably represent what somebody's peak is, but not how they play on a regular basis.
