Shoe Question

Post by jtm94 »

So, I finally got me some Lavers!!!!
Now, I have some questions.
I'm not planning on heavily modding them until the get older because I just can't bring myself to harm these pristine shoes.

I understand so many people swear by these, but they seem hard to play with.
Because of the mesh I have to put forth much more effort to propel the footbag, but I can see how it will help me further my freestyle.

Since they seem to take much more effort I don't see myself being able to get high numbers or long practice sessions with them.
This is why I am curious what shoes do people wear for netbag? I know a standard rule before attempting netbag is to be able to get 100 consecutively with consistency so they must wear shoes that aid in this.

So, what shoes do netbag players wear?

The few net players I've seen take more durable shoe and staple a layer of... well I'm not positive what the material is, but some hardcore (medical prothetic?) material on the insides

I've tried to kick a net bag in lavers and wouldn't recommend it

Someone else please post more info on this as I don't know hardly anything about net shoes, I just saw that no one posted yet so I thought I'd share what little I do know

At Worlds, far and away the most common footbag net shoe was the Nike Air Max 90.
