inside stall fabric cutting

Post by TokenHippie »

I'm trying to cut the inside stall part of my lavers but its giving me trouble, I'm following matt cross's idea of cutting the outermost layer not the innermost of the part you do inside and clipper stalls. Need help on how to open it up so I can start cutting with scissors

Yeah I've seen it already I just wanted to know where you make the cut to be able to separate the two layers. I'm sorta hacking away at it slowly right now and doing a bit of ripping. I'm sure there's an easier way

When I modded my Lavers, I found that there was no "specific spot" to start the first cut. Start anywhere inside the area that you intend to remove. Instead of focusing on where, focus on making sure that your cut is only penetrating one layer. Once you have a good sized cut, the process is much like you described it: hacking and ripping, with the addition of prying the layers apart (I used the rounded end of a Sharpie for this).

I may have misread your original question so let me know if that's way off base or if it helps.

You got it man! Perfect explanation, I was able to get both parts cut fine. It was exactly as you described it which is a huge relief cuz I thought I was doing it wrong. Thanks for the help
