1. Re: gyro opp clipper. I was just a bit confused about what the "opp" implied. From the sound of it, I think you meant just "gyro clipper" and I was overthinking what you might have hit. For a second there I thought you meant you hit sonic clipper.
2. Good job modding the Units.
3. The reason there is a frog on those Units, is that it's the Puerto Rican colorway. The official animal of Puerto Rico is the Coqui, which is the frog you see on there.
4. Props on mobius x2. I can't believe that's your first fearless link... you've got to be the only person I've ever heard of who has that as their first fearless combo. The good news for you is that there are thousands of other fearless links, and they're almost all easier than that one.

5. I agree with Zeb's suggestions. I think it'd be a great challenge to go for mobius x2 again, but eliminating the pause in between, and getting a more solid seal.

Now that school is out for you, I'm excited to see your game improve even faster. Soak up as much of Bob's advice as you can.

By the way guys, Thank you all for all these props and great jobs. It's things like this that really push me harder than I could ever imagine. And thank you for the tips and pointers, to those who gave some. I've accomplished the biggest goal I had for myself in footbag, Now I plan on working on everything else ever

Tonight Jackson and I had a session with Bob, then we left and had one with Corey. Bob had some insane basketball shots when we first showed up. We played PIG with him, then he school our asses HARD. Then we played footbag. Jackson hit his first Pixie Ducking Clipper (He also ducked his pixie like 20 times!), Bob was ON tonight, and Corey was doing alright. Gotta be quick with this one cuz my Dad and I are about to watch a movie.

Highlights:

I hit my second 5> 5 link! Gyro Dyno> Mobius. I felt like Brian Bear

Blender b2b! First time! HYPED! Oh my God, I did that too.

PLO> PLO> Dimwalk to start a run. That's good for me because as I've said, Pixies are newish on flipside.

Movie time. I street perform for the Friday festival in Phoenixville tomorrow night for the first time of the year! Can't wait!

Edit: I told Tony that I would post some pics of footbag stuff that's on my walls in my room, but I only feel like posting this one. The rest of the things are just "Jorden's 10 most common style mistakes" guide, lots of goals, a whitebaord of all of my tricks, a breakdown of a lot of the different components into separate flash cards, a whiteboard of my drills, etc... Kinda boring, but if anyone really wants to see them, just let me know and I'll post them up too. But this is my favorite thing in my room, so I will post this one...

When I hit my first Mobius, I was really intrigued by the name. Was it just made up? Is it someone else's name? I really wanted to know about the actual word "Mobius". I did a little research and found out why the trick was called Mobius. It makes a lot of sense. I think it mirrors the trick extremely well and that the trick looks almost like a mobius strip. I really began to enjoy the concept behind both the strip and the trick, so I made one of my own and hung it on my wall. Pretty cool experiment, if you want to try making one and experimenting with its different properties, check out this video:

Thank you for mentioning flashcards! That is inspiration right there! Perhaps I could make use of a flashcard app on my phone. Put a ton of tricks down and have it tell me to do what at random.

it's a 1 dimensional figure figure on a 2 dimensional plane, pretty cool!

Worldbound: I'm glad I was able to inspire you. I really like the idea of inspiration, especialy in footbag. Inspiration is how I got to this point and I'm thankful there are so many other cool and helpful players to be inspired by. I checked out your youtube channel, as well. Keep doing what you're doing. I was pleased to see you hitting things both sides as a beginner player. Really great stuff man.

So TONIGHT! Oh man, TONIGHT! WOOO!!! I made six bucks in tip... lol (plus the actual check that I get from the borough of Phoenixville, which isn't bad for just playing hackysack for 2 hours haha)

Jackson kicked with me tonight while I performed. He had some long tiltless strings and was getting madd close to Phoenix. Ha, Fancy that, Phoenix in Phoeniville. Wooo! Words ftw.

Highlights:

Inspinning Mobius!!! I felt like Peter Irish!!! I couldn't seal it with a hand catch, but I definitely nailed the osis. I was thrown off balance again and again by the uneven surface we performed on :\ I plan on hitting it again and (hopefully) on flipside this Sunday during Sunday Sessions. Flipside is my better inspinning side actually. Can't tell you why.

Long Guiltless strings tonight. I know I beat my old record, but I have no clue by how many. I just remember shredding in one of my strings and being absolutely at one with myself, not thinking about anything at all, just flowing. I hope this will happen from now on.

Oh, on a side note, I went to get my Senior Driver's license today and while I was waiting in the eternal hell-line for my turn, there was this highschool kid who was walking out and astounded by his first license ever. The kid was staring at it muttering words to himself and smiling. You could tell how happy he was that he'd passed his test... Then he walked right into a sign. BAM! So good.

Can't wait til Sunday Sessions. This kid who is awesome at hacky sack and had no clue about freestyle is coming. He's got clippers like butter, legovers, legover inside stalls, and some other cool stuff. I think he's really going to take to footbag. Plus he fits into my old Laverz! WORD! Yet another +1 to the PA Freestyle Scene!

Nothing really great today. I barely kicked, but Luis was in town so I had to for a little bit. His Illusions are looking tighter than ever. He's lucky that he moved 5 minutes away from John Goode. Jealous.

I'm at the point in footbag where I'm having trouble getting to sleep because I'm thinking about footbag that much. It's crazy, but I kinda like it. I keep getting sick new ideas. Like a semi-hittable 10 add that I dreamt up last night "Stepping Ducking PS Torquescrewing Flapper" So ridiculous.

I also was wondering if a set that I dreamt up was hit: "Stepping Nuclear (stepping set with uptime pdx atomic) as well "Stepping Pdx Quantum" (Same idea) ??? Nick Landes could probably hit Stepping Nuclear something or other if he hasn't already.

Really gotta take it easy. My shins have been in pain since the first session this week with Bob. It was because I tried all this difficult stepping pdx stuff, like fog multiple time, blurry drifter multiple times and some other crap that I regret trying so repetitively.

Tomorrow, I'm going to stick to working on my spinning and ducking. SUNDAY SESSIONS TOMORROW!!! So pumped. Lots of new faces who really want to learn and lots of old faces that I've kicked with many a time. Should be fun. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ATTENDANCE FOR TOMORROW

Corey, yeah, I was thinking into it too much. I pictured like a stepping set and a nuclear set almost separate, but it's def shooting.

Anyway, today was sick. Sunday Sessions went down. We had a showing of around 10 or 11 players. We got one new kid into playing footbag, too.

It was a really sweet surprise to see Jon Schneider and Drew Martin. Thanks for driving out to PA for this, guys. Oh and my Dad showed up in his Lavers. For those who don't know, my Dad is a card.

I think everyone had a really great time. These are looking like a really swell idea. Jackson's stringing so much longer as of just today. Some cool stuff was hit by a lot of people today. Our PA scene was poppin'offdahook today, son!

My highlights:

Parkwalk> Stepping ducking clipper

Dimwalk> Ripstein

Alpine Blurry Whirl (some said it was thin, but they still gave me props on it, so I guess I'm counting it)

Beat my Guiltless record with something like 25 contacts, I'd like to say. Had a lot of Bops in it, but it also had bsos ducking clip, ripwalk, blur, blender, dyno, and some other things. I had a really dense string with that stuff, plus some other cooler stuff that was around 17 contacts.

Lots of midsting flip Pixies.

If you are remotely close to PA, you should definitely check out Sunday Sessions one of these days.
