Is there a host hotel? That weekend has opened up for me, but I can't find a reasonable airfare for some reason, despite being relatively near. I don't want the weekend to turn into a big moneydump.

I found decent tickets flying in and out of SFO. Is there a host hotel? Is anybody staying there? If not, can anybody help me with crash space?

hey guys!
I have no idea about host hotel :/
but I still have crash space for up to 3 people, maybe 4, combination of floor and sofa. and I will be driving around from the event site to wherever (and have space in my car). keep in mind i am about 45 minutes from oakland

I haven't heard anything about a host hotel but so far myself, Chris, and I believe Justin are sharing room. I haven't looked at anything yet but if I can get a good rate I might look into a larger room and just pay the small extra amount out of my pocket. Not sure how many people are coming but if we had a kind of "host room" where we could also party that might be kind of convenient.. I'll check out some rates and prices. Thoughts?

Alan, we're still planning on sharing a room, and can chip in if you spring for something more expensive.

I didn't even notice this at first man, my bad. Yeah if I got room then no problem at all. Just working on finding a place.

Now I'm not certain on the best means of transportation from hotel to the even sites if I'm not able to use my car cause my company has been pulling some sheisty shit. My car may be being used by a coworker and unavailable for the weekend in the worst case scenario. I just want to make sure I choose a hotel located conveniently between transportation and the event site if you know what I mean... Any insights from anyone?

Most NET players will find crash space at the houses of local net players, since we're mostly a net club here in Oakland.

We figure that most freestylers will also find crash space with local freestylers. I hope it all gets figured out. Looking forward to the high quality freestyle and net comps this weekend
