Session yesterday with Brian. It was supposed to be "Sunday Sessions" at the park, but none of the local players were able to get their stuff together to play (or to even reply or call or anything.. it's feeling soooo worth the effort so far).

Anyways, we made the best of it and had a great session in the barn. Just playing hard. I hit every new "hard" trick from the above post except inspinning (because I forgot to try it) again, so that was nice.

edit, that list was:
So, stuff I've hit in the last two practices:
- whirling swirl
- pixie whirl
- mobius
- inspinning toe stall
- pdx whirl (both sides)
- blurriest
- pixie DLO
- spinning ducking pdx mirage

And I hit butterfly swirl, I think that might be the first time I hit that before. I hit quantum butterfly bsos. And then my typical strings.

I want to post in that thread, but I'm too embarrassed because you used me as an example. So take my word here, that as an avid reader but reserved commenter I will do my best through words of encouragement and whatnot more freely than I have in the past. Keep up the great work Bob!

D'Oh! My bad Tony. We're all so proud of your ongoing progress I didn't think twice at using you as an example in that thread. I just edited to be more general for that specific sentence that I typed as not to embarass you, not my intent at all (although that doesn't mean you have to go over to that thread and say anything).

I think you're another good example of someone that participates here, and I think it's really positive that you do.

I like what you're doing with this. That said, I think refusing to post until there's movement will hurt the chances of your proposal taking off. If anything, you should also post more frequently, to help get that critical mass going.

Oh, and you should also post in this thread regardless. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you're following them at all.

Boy oh boy, that other thread is going nowhere fast. I'm appalled that:
- no one can actually read my clearly written thoughts and see what I'm saying. All they see is "save modified" which is such a narrow view of what I've written, and frankly, I'm not going to restate the actual point here because no one is listening anyways obviously. This happens in business all the time too - people focus and get derailed on a specific something or other instead of seeing the entire picture. It's not productive nor is it accurate, but trying to get them refocused is like herding cats.

- no one seemingly actually cares. There's no denying that the "out for me and only me" mindset is hurting this sport of ours. I find that sad.

Anyways, I only have a couple years left of kicking so I'm going to enjoy playing and forget the rest.

I know this is as useless as commenting on a dead friend's facebook because they're never gonna read it... but you're not dead, you're just awesome and just because no one commented in here doesn't mean no one cared about your game or you.

If you ever read this again, I just want you to know, I think about you every session I have, every time a new kid learns toe stalls... You are my footbag God and I wish you still played or even just called me back so we could get a damn beer sometime.
