I know this is late notice, but if I can get some crash space somewhere I'm a 100% lock to attend this. Also if anyone is looking at sharing a hotel room or something similar, please do let me know!

I'm really keen to attend this!

What's the best way to get to the event from LA?

Probably a plane. Oakland and LA are pretty far away.

janis, i can provide crash space at my house, but its 45 min away from the event site and minimal (either sofa or air mattress). let me know if you want to work something out.

also, plane is probably best, although with such late notice it might be pricey. If you are feeling adventurous, you could check craigslist rideshares, I have done this a few times to san diego to save on some money.

Super fun so far.

In routines today Boychuk and Gatesman went dropless, and I had one drop. Circle qualifications were pretty epic. Justin Dale, Jay, and myself, with only top two advancing. What a dogfight. Request was fun. Evan won, I finished second, Jay was third. Sick 3 had some good moments. Jay hit jani-isis-flurry. I won the event. Some basketball was played too. Foursquare and beer happening now. I'm filming a lot, so hopefully can show some later.

Made it home safely. I had an amazing time... one of the most fun tournaments I can remember going to. Major thank yous to:

Brian Bear for giving me rides to the airport and events, and letting me crash and shower at his place. It was also a blast hanging out with you and shredding.

Steve Goldberg for directing the freestyle events, and also for hosting the player parties. He organized the schedule, judging, and brought the sound equipment. He topped off this hard and largely thankless task by having 10+ sweaty footbaggers over to his place afterward for pizza and beer. What can I say... a lot of people had a great weekend because of Steve. Thank you.

CHAOS footbag club for scoring a nice venue for us, and for hosting a party/fundraiser on Sunday night. Competitors got free beer! Free beer and watching world class net with your friends? Every tournament should be like this.

Everybody I competed against in Circle, for pushing me to play harder than I ever do.

Hope everybody is having fun in Golden Gate Park. Sorry I had to leave a day early, but it was great seeing everybody and catching up.
