Still not playing any footbag but planning on tomorrow.

So what else is going on in my life?

Well, here is a 24 hour school project:

Also still working on my DJ skills:

Going to Barcelona next week with my school. Gonna stay at Kikes place.
Planning on seeing Redman and Method Man on the first night with him.
And generally having a blast.

yeah, I would probably watch something, if you just put it up on youtube, then put it into this blog.

If you had to be there on time, I would probably miss it.

I haven't played footbag for pretty much a half year.
But..
I am ready to start again - spring is knocking, my traineeship is ending and my legs are getting impatient.
Watching a few of Jordens session videos have made me sentimental, melancholic and really made me wanna get back!
Also Lise is bugging the hell out of me to start playing.

Life is good.
Traineeship has been a great experience, cool but kinda crazy boss and learned alot of stuff and done some great networking.
My bass even gave me these as a gift:

Feeling like I am finding a direction for my art and looking forward to see where my life will take me when mu multimedia education ends this summer.
Copenhagen is treating me so good, made so many new friends in the last 2 years that I can't even count 'em, met alot of women and drank lots of beers.

Any of my old footbag friends (online or in real life) still checking this? Please say hi and let me know whats up.

Would really like to make it to euros or worlds this summer, but I can't really see it happening. Sucks.

Will leave you with some Moombahton. Because it's good for you.

Back on the quest for ...
Image

So today it will happen - My first session in a very long while..
Have some drills prepared to get back in footbag shape and be ready for another summer of footbag.
Can't wait to kick a bit later.

Any of you ever had a long break - any tips for coming back into the game?

Expect to be frustrated, maybe even disappointed, but take your time with your drills and start slow. For me anyway it takes 2-3 sessions before really starting to get a "Groove" back.

Keep kickin' Asmus!

p.s: Love the random pics in your blog

Played outside for the first time and my little brother even joined the fun.
Session went well, did some czech drilling and tried to hit a lot of different tricks.
Frustrations came knocking a couple of times but I was able to keep them at the door.
Looking forward to play again tomorrow.

1. Don't assume you'll be able to hit all the stuff you used to.
2. Don't dwell on the fact that you lost/forgot your flipside stuff so much faster than your strongside.
3. Enjoy what you can do. Just enjoy each trick that you do.

After the first few sessions, hopefully things will come back. You should also take advantage of the opportunity, and work on any holes you had in your game before. Since you're in some ways starting up again from scratch, it's a great chance to fortify your foundation.

Thanks guys!

Session two.. Damn it feels good to play again.

Happy that some tricks felt easier and that I was able to fix some things by thinking not drilling.

I suggest people to watch this documentary:

Massive session on saturday in Copenhagen.
Rasmus Rendsvig, Mads Hole and Jacob Dahlstrup + Guests Frode, Sif and my littlebrother Pedro.
3 hours of kicking fun - then an entire night of party fun with Rasmus.
Highlights:
- Rasmus playing super well
- Seeing all of them again after a while
- Hitting 7 Ducking Clippers to end the session after having a lot of trouble with them
(need to fix that, used to be a bail now I drop on it all the time)

Ending this with the song I am listening to:

Sounds like the last couple years I've had. Life's been good to me so far. I'm still checking in on ya, not as frequently, but i'm still checkin'. Drop the sweet beats on me soon. I haven't been keeping up on what's new, just been delving back into old stuff. Stay golden, pony boi.
