Smelly Watches

Post by jimmyjames »

I wear my cheap athletic type watch all the time. Usually the only time I take it off is when I shower. That said, it is easy to see how the cloth band on my watch has managed to collect a great deal of sweat and stink over the year I have owned it.

My point: My watch smells really bad, and it even causes my wrist to smell after it has been removed.

Does anyone else suffer from stinkyass-watchitis?

Yes, I too have stinky-watchitis, I never take my watch off. If i take my watch off, I have more chance to loose the thing that runs my life. I wear mine in the shower, so it gets somewhat cleaned everyday. My new watch isn't as bad as my old one, it was like I was wearing a sock on my wrist -_-

I've got a rubber banded Ironman.. still stinks up... I guess it's like dead, sweaty skin...

And Timex isn't crap really.

The best solution to a stink watch is to make friends with people who always wear watches and then just ask them what time it is. Thanks Zeke :D
