Watched Heat-Celts game 4, which was great. Neither team up by more than a couple possessions for most of it. Surprised the Celts didn't get a better final shot before OT...and then in OT the Heat just looked like they wanted it more. Great game, but now the series is sadly 3-1 Heat, going back to Miami. I wanted 7 games out of it, but now I think the Heat take it in 5 or 6.

Since I watched an entire playoff game including OT, I skipped the Grizz-Thunder Game 4. Apparently it went to triple OT and was a classic...d'oh! Don't feel that bad though, since the first game I saw was very good too.

Overall, these playoffs have been the best in recent memory for me.

the grizz - thunder game was intense, triple overtime however was kinda crappy because of how tired most of them were. It looked like both teams just wanted to get the game over with

Wow, the Heat ousted the Celtics. I really thought (hoped) this series would go 7 and be close. The Heat played great, so they deserve it.

Wouldn't it be crazy to see a Heat-Mavs finals matchup again? What a storyline that rematch would be...

Eastern Finals are set now: Bulls will play the Heat.

From what I've read, pundits are favoring the Heat. I really don't know. The Bulls have homecourt advantage, and from the games I've seen, their defense is ridiculously good. The Heat have pretty solid defense too, but who defends DRose? I'm guessing they'll move Wade over to defend him. I think this series will be a grind, but a good one. Hoping it goes 7.

Chalmers will be guarding Rose. Well that is what my sources are saying.

Wow, Dirk scored 48 points...on 15 field goals?!? 24/24 free throws, an NBA playoff record. Also crazy.

I'm really enjoying these playoffs so far. Lots of strong teams, superstars, and new matchups. Sweet.

I've been watching them when I can, which is hardly ever considering I have no TV.

My only real contribution to this conversation would be that there seems to be a lot of parity this year in comparison to the past, particularly in the west.

Seeing as there is no NBA team in my city, I have no loyalties. I'd probably be happiest if OKC won, though.

Heat are looking legit. Not only are they up 3-1 against the Bulls, they've now won 3 games in a row against them. Bulls might still win one out of pride, but I don't see this series going 7. To their credit, the Heat really have played well in this series. It's nice to see Bosh finally step up. The Bulls had a great season, but next year they really need to get some offensive help for Rose. I'm surprised Boozer has been such a bust offensively.

Out West, things look similarly grim for OKC. I really didn't expect them to lose both home games. I have more faith in OKC to push this series to 7 than the Bulls, but even here I think it's like the Mavs close out at home in Game 5.

So it's looking likely that the Finals are gonna be a rematch of Heat-Mavs, like it was in 2006. The only returning players for each team are Dirk and Terry for Dallas, and Wade and Haslem for Miami. I think I'd have to give the edge to Miami in that series if it happens, which is sad, because I'd really love to see Jason Kidd win a ring before he retires.

This is painful. Guess the silver lining is the Bulls should be contenders next year.

Boozer was such a disappointment. The Bulls have a great superstar, and great defense (coaching) in place, but they need one more offensive force to take some of the load off of Rose.

I expected that series to go 6 or 7, so was disappointed that the Bulls were so dismal in the fourth quarter of every game.

So the Finals are set now: the Dallas Mavs vs. the Heat. I think it's gonna be a real good show. If I had to predict it, I'd bet on Heat in 6 or 7. They have homecourt, Bosh is a better defensive matchup on Dirk than anybody so far in the playoffs (plus he won't have to expend energy on offense, what with LBJ and Wade behind him), and the Mavs age will hurt them against athletic wings like LeBron and Wade. My heart is rooting for the Mavs though, since I'd love to see Kidd finally get a ring.

I love how when LeBron James takes 15 steps and then dunks the ball prople say it is an "explosive move" but if anybody else did that. Something really reeks of Tim Donaghy. That dirk foul where he stripped the ball, the chandler foul, and some other bogus offensive foul in the 4th...David Stern pulling some strings?

The Heat earned the win last night, but I don’t understand why all the media outlets are proclaiming the series is over. If Dallas wins the next game, they’ll have regained home court advantage and have momentum going home. The Mavs bench didn’t show up at all, but I don’t see that happening all series. When the Bulls won game 1 of the ECF, people freaked out too.

I guess I’m just hoping we still have a series.

Ricky Rubio is my new favorite player. I love all the international players that are not Gasol, Yao, or Ginobili. Rubio is going to suck though.
