today

ripwalk to janiwalker bs
ripwalk to sunilwalker bs
4 pack>run with whirr, janiwalker and sunilwalker

I hit 1st trick of the ten pack 3 times and then the first two tricks then the first three....and so on until I got to six. could only hit six once at the end of the session even though during the entire session I hit it about 3 or four times....went for number seven twice and missed

today I felt that the start is getting easier.....hitting the second p torque is still giving me trouble, but I hit..

spinning ducking p mirage>phoenix>Blurriest>BW>p torque >p torque

I worked toe blenders>p mirage

footed atomic blender

also learned more about drifters just from watching chris dean hit his beast on video today.....dudes got the most effortless looking drifter ....

NICE! You hit your goal of 100 guiltless! Props dude. That's great to read! All the other highlights are intense too. Really cool you got p blender bsos and you're coming so close to 10 fearless. (In the words of Vasek: Analyze the drop, mimic it 100 times and force your body to never do it again) Thanks for the reality check earlier :P That was a good push for me.

103 contacts run just pwned me totally. just wow man...

Glad you practice flipside whirling swirls and blenders, keep doing that effects come really quickly when you spend 2 whole sessions at killing the flipside.

@ Radek...

Thanks man :D
My sessions have been pretty consistant now. Since I started doing toe set blenders I have felt more comfortable withe the trick .....its fun.. thanks for the drills. I do them almost every day ...it took me some time to get this...still just getting it though....

I have a decent whirling swirl on one side....dont really use the trick though...I really wanted flip for some time now...So random short session I thought of nick p hitting whirling swirls and them tried it and got it. 8)

The guiltless run was me just in the middle of a session trying to get form and I think I hit 7 - 12 contacts before that , almost dropped bailed to a clipper and then started counting in my head which I never do and got to 100 then decided to start pushings 5s soon and dropped on 103. happy to hit this goal and it actually gives me an idea of what a routine might feel like.... I will write my first routine soon.....and will play tomorrow after a two day break....

2 hour session tomorow.. to come...
warmup
stretch
warmup runs
blenders
fearless 10 tricks seperately
Session GOAL = 8 fearless unique
try to hit symp whirling twirl>Food
cool down

If any of you reading have any challenges at all that either could be drills to work in or big tricks.....please tell me and I will try to do them....

Mark

Dude, I can't tell you how stoked I was to read that :D I'm so glad I was able to help you hit that. Props dude.

Ok, so earlier this year, I was using the Nukes you sent me, but then I stopped, because I realized they were hard to shred in... Then I switched to the Q'03s you sent me, but they were a little too big and I couldn't do midrun flappers in them... Then I switched to Lavers again with the t-shirt mod you told me about... then I switched to G-Units, since you recommended them to me... Then I realized I have too much crank to wear G-Units and the deep pocket would always mess up my spins and other tricks... Now I think I've made the final conversion.... I'm back to those Q'03s you sent me. I guess my foot grew into them pretty quickly, because they fit me like a glove now. I have no idea what happened, but they're perfect! So I'm back in your shoes again :P I'll be reppin' your shoes at NYFA this weekend, so in a way, you'll sorta be there :P Wish you could actually make the trip out to NY.

Anyway, hope you achieve your goal of 8 fearless uniques

Here's just a couple new 5's I was experimenting with a little bit ago that you might be interested in trying to add to your repertoire that I don't recall you hitting. Maybe you'll find some of these easier to incorporate in your fearless links:

~Snowflake (Pdx Drifter Xbd rake)
~Alpine Swerve (Pixie Ducking Xbd Rake)
~Matador (Nuclear Butterfly)
~Sumo (Nuclear Mirage) (I don't know if you like Nuclear or not, but I feel like Nuclear sets would look bad ass in your game.)
~Inward Mobius (Inspinning Mobius)
~Torquescrew

Like I said, I don't know if you have hit some of these or don't enjoy them or whatever, but I rarely see/have never seen them in your blog, but let me know whether or not you dig them.

Later man.

~Nick

^ I have hit most of those, but just have been working the same set of tricks unitl I dial them...what is aracnophobia? Glad you like the q3s....i always found them super comfortable. Yeah you were the inspiration for the flip whirling swirl.....I saw all the tricks youve been doing and thought oh shit I need a flip whirling swirl.. :)

anyway
hit janiwalker rake a couple of times this week but not sure if I put it in the blog yet

today..

wow... the repeat combo would probably be far off for me..
ive hit void on both sides but alpine out of it is super hard for me.... i also have only footed dlos after ducks........sorry ....out of my trick arsenal.

that reminds me of trying to hit vortex>rippedwarrior

8)

may play today.... if I can get to 8 again this session I will continue to feel accomplished .....Im hoping that the final 2 will not be as hard for me.....once I get to 8 .....I usually dont drop scorpions tail to mobius.....I am also starting to think of getting passed 10...... I originally thought of trying to hit p blender after mobius and I think that might be the way to go for me instead of putting my flip BW after which would be a little harder to get into but easier to get out of.....i dont usually hit p blender to another 5 but since I got p blender>ps whirl yesterday...I could start working that and then once I got passed that I could start the next burst of tricks.....I am willing to get to 10 - 11 fives ...but havent made the commitement passed there yet.....

my sessions have been all over the place for years and I am happy to be pushing for the same goals every session.....but I dont know yet if the fearless journey is all I want from footbag .... only time will tell.

possible thoughts to get passed 10

sd p mirage> Phonenix > Blurriest> BW >p torque>
p torque > tomahawk> s p whirl>scorps>mobius

next group could be

motino>p blender>ps whirl > spinning ducking buttefly> blurriest>
BW> spinning ducking p mirage>phonex>janiwalker>swirling spinning butterfly
the part I would have to worked passed is 11-13
or

p blender> spinning p whirl>mobius>tomahawk>ps whirl
spin duck butterfly>spinning ducking osis>BW>Blurriest>stepping dyno>

honestly though.....I will probably just try to hit my record at least once every session until it gets consitant......

thoughts for possible beast sick 3s that I want.....havent hit a beast yet
will start to incorperate one of these goals soon...first I will see what tricks would be the most practical links for me then just start hitting them every session or hitting smaller versions of the links every session...
maelstrom>food>marius
alipine BW>food> mullet
whirlwind>maeltrom>marius
ducking scorps> blurry torque>Food
stepping superfly>stepping superfly>food
Food>whirlgig>spender
swirling mobius>b torque>ducking p torque
marius>ducking p torque>ducking p torque
maelstrom>symp whirling twirl>food
Food>gig>spender
food>BW rake>toe set inspinng mobius (not sure whats the add count on this trick)
swirling mobius>swirling mobius>food would be a huge accomplishement

oh well enough planning for the future......
