I gotta run off to a session right now, but before I peaced, I wanted to check 'fied, because... I dunno... I'm a fucking footbag addict, I guess
I checked the first post in your blog and I'm pretty speechless.... I'm almost convinced that you've just been cutting small pieces off of your stomach every day
But seriously, wow. Your program is really working like a champ for you. Words can't express how stoked I am for you and how much I respect what you're doing. Well, I gotta run, props again man. You are truly a part of an inspirational story that I'm almost positive it being talked about all over the footbag world.

Hey Paul,
of course I want to be your friend. You sound like an awesome dude! Don't worry about hitting the top of my blog I don't mind. And I'm glad people find my journey inspirational. It's hard at times. Today was hard. I actually sick after my workout again. I've been doing some reading and think the cause might be that I'm not drinking enough water. Anyways, keep on keeping on.

Alright: Inspiration story from work on Monday.
A girl that used to work with me before going away for school was in the store making a purchase. I saw her when she was at the check out counter so I thought I'd head over and say hi. I shouted "Hi" from a about 20 feet away. She looked up and started to say hi, but changed mid word to "HOLY COW!!! You're really skinny!" Then she ran up and gave me a hug. She'd never hugged me before. Lot's of people that don't see me often are commenting on the loss. It's great because when you see yourself everyday you can start to not notice it. Being reminded that you look drastically different is fun.

Power 90: Day 65
Sweat 3-4 and Ab Ripper 200
Sweat was about the same as it's been for a while now. Not terrible, but not great either. I didn't get the knee's up without moddifying my arms. Still weak in the shoulder/back from rock climbing. (can't wait to try rock climbing again) I did however, rock AR200! No pauses. No modifications (eg feet touching on fulls) and I finished about a rep before the kids! Pretty stoked on that!

I'm no rock climbing expert, but I tried it once and I had the same sore feeling on my arms.
A couple years later, I was watching Discovery Channel and got a tip from Bear Grills (from Man vs Wild)
Instead of reaching higher with your arms to climb further each time, keep your hands lower, and use your legs to push your body up (instead of pulling so much with your arm). Your legs are much stronger than your arms, so it makes sense to make the most out of them.
Anyways...keep up the great work...my longest workout streak has been....2 days xD

That's a great tip Kam. It makes a lot of sense. Thank you for sharing!
Power 90: Day 66
Sculpt 3-4
Felt more like myself today. Did full reps, but kept the 8 lb weights for a few exercises just to be safe. We'll see how I feel as time goes on this evening. Got 26 max rep push ups. Might have been able to push 2 or 3 more out, but I'm playing it cautious.

Power 90: Day 67
Sweat 3-4. Didn't push at all. Any time I tried to push I felt the (way too big and unhealthy) contents of my stomach jiggly around. The side effect of an awesome summer barbecue with great cooks and a Tony with poor self control. In happier news I am down to 186 lbs. That's 59 pounds lost since I started. As long as I take 3 steps forward for every one back, I'm happy.

First of all, I had to look up ONEderland. That's awesome and I'm happy to be out of TWOterville. And I'm glad I've been an inspiration to people. To be honest that was the furthest thing from my mind when I started posting my workout here. Most of Modified is way better shape than me, so I started posting here more as a way to keep myself accounting. I'm extremely happy that others have found motivation to become healthier along with me. And I too had tried several times in the past. But looking at those times... I didn't really dedicate at all. I decided in my head that I was gonna do something but never defined what that something was, or laid out how I was going to achieve it. I did those things this time. I did research on how to loose weight, how to view it for long term success, ect and it really helped.
Power 90: Day 68 feeling it
Sculpt 3-4 today. Feeling it a lot. Almost felt sick again. Right before the chair dips I took a 5 minute breather because my stomach wasn't feeling right. Was rewarded by coming back and setting a new personal record on dips: 19. Finished up fairly strong with no trouble. I need to get eating properly again. I haven't been tracking my food for over 2 weeks now. That starts back up again TOMORROW.

Power 90 Day 67 - Three weeks to go
Sweat 3-4/Ab Ripper 200
Had a headache but did it anyways. Wasn't really with it all the way up until the second round of punches. Had to modify a lot of the parts so my head didn't pound as much, as on the second part of punches I really got into and went hard. Gave my all in AR200 as well and finished on time.

Power 90: day 68
Sculpt 3-4
Rocked it today. I think I've lost some muscle over the last few weeks. A few bad workouts and some illness seems to have set me back, but I brought it today and did quite well. 30 Max push ups, 32 max squats, 15 chair dips. Not too shabby for me lately. I hope to get back to my old numbers soon. And the best part? I didn't throw up! I did feel a little bit nauseous, but not too bad.

Finally played kicky bag after a few weeks off. played at lunch at work and just had fun. No highlights. Spent most of the time just kicking. Felt nice.
Power 90: Day 72
Sweat 5-6. Yup, I stepped it up. Felt I was getting complacent in 3-4 and just a little bored. 5-6 mixes it up a lot, but felt overall quite easy. Sure, I sweated, but no muscles really got sore. Well, now that I think about that... My quads were burning early on! So yes, I like sweat 5-6. I think I'll try Sculpt 5-6 tomorrow and see what I think of it, then decide if I'll continue it. I did Ab Ripper 200 tonight as well.

How'd that Gyro Mirage go? It's a fun move. I think I'm going to work on it more. And ya, that Shut Gyro dlo was sick. But most things Jorden does are. I've never learned dlo myself. Never really tried it to be honest. Maybe I'll give it a shot next time play, but will be a while before I try gyro dlo I think.
Power 90: Day 73
Sculpt 5-6
I like it. But I wish it still had max push ups. lol But overall it's fun and I'll enjoy finishing out this leg of the journey to it!

Nice job on Gryo Mirage bs. That's great you hit it bs and first time for each. you just opened up a huge window for yourself (ie. Pandora's Box, Vortex, Mobius, Whale Tail, Gyro Whirl, Gyro Barrage, etc..). Just practice the crap out of Gyro Mirage. Do it without planting, it makes it a lot easier. My buddy is just starting to do gyro too. I love gyro, it's one of my favorite aspects of footbag. Good stuff man.
PS (<-- does not stand for Paradox Symposium
). Gyro DLO (Whale Tail) is closer than you think. As soon as I got pretty consistent with Gyro Mirage and DLO, I was able to hit it. You'll get that eventually. It helps to think about dlo a a miraging legover and that you do the dexes almost simultaneously. Also practice symple legovers. That will make them a lot easier.
Good luck, and keep it up man.

Yep. Gyro Mirage BS. (strongside is def weakside when it comes to this trick. weakside i got in like 5-10 tries. strongside got in about 50)
when i get to onederland i think i'll be able to be much more consistent.. which i think i'm going to focus on now rather than all my focus on becoming a better shredder.... becoming a lean mean machine will certainly contribute to becoming a sick shredder in the long run than trying to become a morbidly obese good shredder. (exaggeration.. kind of)
