i'll be catching a bus into the city around two or three so i'll probably get there around five traffic permitting, kinda lame but it's the best i could get out of work. i will be there as long as possible on sunday to make up for lost time, i really cannot wait.

pete will just end up getting sick in the sink and losing his glasses again, i look forward to it.

Jackson and I bought our bus tickets 2 hours ago... Hooray for procrastination!!!

We'll be there around 3 something tomorrow.

Nick&Jackson's
YEAH!
Funtastic
Adventure

begins!

Yeah, that's pretty lame, but it's better than Nick&Jackson's Yeast-infected Fancy Ass, which was my original thought. You try it, it's hard.

Anyway, see you all tomorrow!

Edit: I'm bringing my flame bag along with a gatorade bottle of kerosine

Stoked!

Weather looks like it could go either way -- do we have options for indoor or covered shred areas?

weather-wise, I think we'll be fine. Accuweather is sayng a chance of a thunderstorm in the morning as the cold front comes in. I've got a feeling it's gonna be perfect footbag weather :)

Boston: I think you should go straight to Matt's place tonight...Mark's coming in just before you guys, and we're probably going to head over to Matt's and chill. We'll bounce back to my place afterwards.

Yo thanks to all of the NYFA Ewoks who threw this jawn. I met some new friends, and saw some old faces.

I wish I could pick just a few highlights, but the whole thing was one big ass highlight.

Big ups to Matt C, Bruce, and Ben for being so hospitable! And Drew M for the ride and for taking Hogan, Kemmer, and I to see Medeski Martin & Wood. That was sick. Bruce, you and your cat rule. Hope you guys both enjoy your gifts

I had a dead ass blast hanging out and shredding with everybody during my first NYFA Jam. Definitely going to be going up with Toolan and maybe some other PA guys to kick with NYFA again this summer.

This jam was off the hook to the 100th power.

Next time my grandmother offers me "sweets", I'll have to think twice...

Definitely thanks to Drew, Matt, Bruce, and Ben for either organizing the jam or letting us hang out / crash at their place (or both). Everyone was extremely hospitable and helped me out with getting around the city (I r n00b) -- I appreciated it.

Had an awesome time hanging out and kicking with everyone (except Doug). Hope to see you all at future tourneys soon!

Sweets on the ground.

someone put that Sweets mag under my mattress, very funny, guys. Like it wasn't gonna stand out against all the other mags under there; Sweets has GIRLS in it. It's cool, I just photoshopped Hogan's face on all the chicks, so I'll still get some use out of it. 8O

Great jam! It went by waaaaaay too fast, though. Thanks to everyone for coming into our neck of the woods to help make cider out of the Big Apple. Thanks to Kevin and Pete for fulfilling the BSC puke quota, I was afraid I was gonna have to buy some ipecac if you guys didn't pull your weight. Thanks to Matt for hosting us on Friday, hope we didn't get you in trouble with the local constabulary. Thanks to Ben and Ricki for the sick ass laser show and use of the building facilities on Saturday.

also thanks to:

Drew (for setting it all up)
Toolan (for cigarettes)
Nick (for gifts :))
the chick with the pants that weren't pants
and most of all Baby Jesus

PS Kitty sez "meow", by which she means "bye, smelly foot peoplez"....or possibly "who puked in my litter box", her acccent is kinda thick

Peace!

Thanks everyone - I had a fun time hanging out with y'all.

Some of my highlights:

- Friday's pre-party session. it was my best playing of the weekend. I hit nemesis and some decent strings. Everyone played well, and we had a great time listening to tunes and getting some kicks in.

- Nick Polini's toe-to-heel burger ending on planted heel stall. super sick.

- roof party! Fun!

- seeing Jay bust out superdeeduperfly in competition, first try. Amaaaazing.

- having Matt K, Will, and Jay staying at my place.

- last session with Will and Jay, earlier today. almost got nemesis again... grrr. my knee felt all right, and we had fun.

Jay's on the way to the airport. Will is reading a book on the floor. Time to drink coffee and write some emails.

I'm looking forward to next time!

Just wanted to say I had a TON of fun at this event. Thanks to everyone who went. You all rule.

Special thanks to

Matt C - for letting us all chill on your roof Friday night. Hope we didn't get you in too much trouble with that security guard straight out of Green Mile.
Ben C - for letting us chill at your apt Saturday night and that INCREDIBLE laser show. So fucking awesome. I would never leave my room if I had one of those things. Hope you found your key!
Drew M - for setting up the event and running competition. Also for doing a bunch of filming on Sunday. I cant wait to see Will D.'s big trick on camera.
Dave B- for making such awesome shirts. I can't wait to wear it to someone else's church.
Bruce - for hosting a bunch of stinky footbagers in his ridiculously sweet castle apartment. I think I'll come visit just to use your shower once more. I dont even care if we play footbag. That shower touched me in a way no woman ever could.

I hope to see ALL of you again soon at another east coast jam....

Boatz giving Hogan the finger, Hogan ain't tryin ta hear that (actually he was giving me the finger, but whatever)

Boatz having an idea, transmitting said idea to person on right via flourescent brain wave, cause that's how we roll

Ben and Ricki light up Ben's apartment with some brain-melting lasers

Johnny B Goode, post-brain melting. I think he'll be okay...Doug is mid brain melt on the right

Notably absent from the festivities was Ryan Thomas... fortunately we had a backup source, in case of emergencies....

Considering I'd very much like not to get my tongue stuck on a pole, I shall have a video from the 40 minutes I filmed. I should have it done later today

edit: of course I get called into work before I can start working on it. I should still be able to do it after, though
