Dag...

Great highlights. I was trying to pick the ones I liked best, but I ended up about to type all of them :P Hit Flipwalk dude. That's so your's. I never kicked with you before the injury, well, I've never kicked with you (yet).... but it seems like you're coming back into it stronger than you left it. Awesome man. NYFA can't come sooner!

well, doug told me that i look the best i ever have but i know that is not true. my runs are less baily and my posture and form are much better (probably mostly due to working out) and i can hit harder tricks but i still lost alot of concepts and have a flipside for stuff that used to be money all the time. theres also lots of easy stuff i know i would have hit (rubberman, lots of drifter stuff) but can't now because of bad muscle memory/flipside.

on the flip of that, i definetly have alot more stuff to work with and fix things that i sucked at.

random:
-flip jacknife
-darkwalk bsos, with the flip midstring
-stepping whirl bsos both midstring
-first midstring superfly
-1 clean zig zag. you were right nick, this shit is not that hard, even though i still suck at rev swirls.

i want nuke same whirl>tombstone. maybe tomorrow if tristan can play.

peace.

Yeah dude! Wicked stuff. Great to hear you hit Zig-Zag. Yeah, not really too tough, but real styley. Great highlights, and thanks for that reality check from you and Mark earlier. I have a sesh with Bob in an hour and I'll hit a few 50 contact tiltless runs for you. Later man.

Oh yeah... NYFA!

Lonnie doesnt count. No self-respecting judge would allow him as a reputable witness, let alone within 10 feet of a courthouse.... unless he's the defendant.

Props on torch-r-rack. You should replicate that next weekend. 5 days, fool.

^didnt read that before our session but you know what you saw.

still sick and it sucks. i'm gonna power through it for nyfa, excuse me though if i cough my lungs out after each string.

speaking of nyfa, this feels like its it for me. last year at nyfa was my first fracture and the decline of my game and personal life. i reached my best level of play before nyfa last year but never got to show it because i was in pain all weekend. i wanted circle second seed soooooooo bad but my body held me back.

i wanted to quit last year but i can't. the mental peace and confidence of long dense strings doesn't compare to anything else.

i feel like every awful thing in the past year is going to be made up for at this jam. almost all of the coolest people i know in footbag are going to be in one place. it's impossible to explain how it feels to be back in footbag, especially right before now. boston shred crew isn't a joke, we've delt with alot of injuries, people dipping out on us, peeps moving away and this that and the other thing but our time to rep hard is now.

times square ain't got shit on me. time to be like water.

Yo! It was awesome to finally meet you. You're a pretty damn cool dude. Glad to have made a new East Coast friend. It was fun shredding, chatting, and partying with you and the BSC. That Pete is something else... such a funny dude. "Sweets" now has a new meaning for me :P

Awesome shred from you this weekend. It's great you're back into it after such a long time out, your game still looks really strong. Good luck on drilling this Summer. You're gonna be ridiculous by the end of Summer if you keep it up. Oh and you gotta lemme know if you hit anything else cool in the circle after I left. Definitely going to try my damn well best to make it out to Boston for the jam you guys are hosting. Keep me updated on the dates when all is figured out, and I'll try my best to ditch work.

Can't wait to shred and chill again. Later on dude. Keep kickin.

it was great to meet you too man. thanks for the kind words. ripstein>mob ain't nothin but a g thing. I had some good strings after you left and me and john some cool tricks simultaneously for the camera. also hit neo diving clipper which i think was the first time i've hit anything out of a duck after that set. will digges hit furious ss barrage 8O. fun times.

NYFA was epic as hell. maybe do a writeup if i'm bored enough but all that needs to be said was this was a great tournament with great people involved. MC general billz says that east coast footbag rules.

haven't kicked since NYFA but i want to and hopefully will today. my view of the game has been completely changed by one future bapper. I know what needs to be done, just need to be healthy and motivated.

how piquant.

knee gave out on me yesterday first string of the day on a flip barfly so i had to stop playing. It feels good now but thats the third time flip dods have fucked up my knee, staying away from those for the rest of the summer.

session today at the beach while lonnie watched:

-darkwalk>pdx torque both sides
-pdx torque b2b finally got that back
-pixie symp whirl
-lots of flip psw and tombstone work
-fairy same torque
-blurry torque>handcatch>mullet
-all 4 symp double downs pretty easily...on the one side i can do them
-some good shuffle and rpt combos.
-blurry flux

pretty fun session. can't wait to play again. basics work starts monday.

I don't know why Lon Smith was just watching you play. Why didn't he kick? What a bastard. :P

Blurry Flux, eh? Well, I'm glad that barfly didn't mess up your knee too badly :P That trick is so fluxed up! Crazy, man. Fairy ss Torque is called "Muerte", just to pass on that knowledge. Cool-looking trick, as well. Good stuff here man. Glad you're going back to basics like me. It will do wonders for your game.

Fuck those 1 adds UP!

Why is fairy ss torque called death?

It kind of makes sense... Grave Digger = Stepping ss Torque, Muerte = Fairy ss Torque. Torque is just a morbid trick... That and you die after you hit it... sometimes... If you hit it next to a stair set and fall down the stairs and break your neck and SMASH your SKULL (Footbag pun!)... Or we could just go with that first suggestion... Yeah, that makes much more sense.

lonnie does not equal lon smith, unfortunately.

nice highlights. my knee and ankle feel pretty good, im seriously looking forward to playing more often.

i was actually gonna recommend going back to basics...but thats just a simplified version of the advice you get from brochuck i assume.

i should go back to basics.

yo,

If you can.....try to hit

any 5>p torque>ptorque >any 5
such as phonex>p t >p t >tomawawk bs

my advice is also to never start from the same p torque

i wanted dark>pdx torque b2b>ps whirl but I feel like its a little to early for me to really start pushing for fearless. My shins like mirages more.

Ripped>pdx torque>pdx torque dosen't sound too hard though.

yo pete thats great you want to play. i can't shred tommorrow in boston but i'll see you during the week hopefully. and you sent me that video like 2 years ago.

hate to update this twice in one day but epic drilling sesh. I don't know what clicked but this session feels like the turning point, I am definetly now where i want to be. since when was vertigo midstring easy?

-Atomic drifter bs. flip two tries, strong way too many wtf.

-ATOMIC TORQUE BOTH SIDES FUCK YA felt mad easy, less then 8 tries for both sides holy fuck.

I love footbag so much.
