Downtime bs legbeater (mama curve?)

Post by Max Power »

I really like this trick and I have been practicing it. I really want to give it a name. I hate having to describe it every time I hit it. It's kinda like dada but reverse. I was thinking mama curve, or just mama. Any other ideas?

I think Pinkus used to do this. I forgot if there was a name. I'd probably just call it reverse dada.

I remember the last vid I saw of Lon Smith he was hitting toe mama to blurry mama, which was quite cool. This trick looks quite stylish.

I think that's a bit different Ken, like the difference between whirr and the reverse dod thing that Aleksi used to do? Maybe it doesn't matter so much, but by his 'description' it sounds a bit different than toxic.

It's the first dex reversed. so, illusioning op symp butterfly. dada curve : drifter :: mama curve : grifter.

Change the name all you want, you're still going to have to explain it constantly ;)

that said, I like mama curve.

Yeah, I meant merlin bailed to near clipper. Mama curve is a good name but I didn't get it a first.

The problem with your explanation, twice now, is that it's not clear what you mean by near clipper. If you're using "near" correctly then it is whirl style, and is "toxic." If you mean something else, it's probably never been hit, since symposium drifters are so hard, let alone with a mirage in front of it.

set>op in>symp op in>op clip = toxic.

set>op in>symp op in>same clip = something else.

Wouldn't it be more correct to call it Scrambled Dadacurve than Reverse?
Since it is only one dex that is reversed.
Like Scrambled Eggbeater is Illusioning Pickup.

Well it seems for scrambled the second dex is reversed. So how about dada curve sunny side up?

Do we really need to embiggen the footbag vernacular though?
