IMPORTANT: Music collect for Routines competitors@Worlds2011

Hello everyone!

This is really important for those who are competing in footbag freestyle routines in singles or doubles
We need you to do one thing as soon as possible for us to make things more simple at the event

For this year's worlds (like previous), we would like everyone to send their music in MP3 or WAV format in advance so we can save some time on the event site.

It would make things very easy for us if you can follow these following steps:

- Find and choose your song
- If your song is not in MP3 or WAV format, please encode it to MP3 if possible.
- Rename your song as follow: "Firstname_Lastname_roundX.mp3" (X being 1 for quarterfinals, 2 for semis, and 3 for finals)
So an example of this would be : John_Doe_round1.mp3 (for quarterfinals)
- You must edit your song in advance, there will be no start time. Please prepare your song in order to have a few seconds after we press play.
- Send all this to this email adress: [email protected]

*Please note there will be no time call for your music. Players must know their music and/or stop after we fade out the music if they go over their time call.

If you don't send your songs for all rounds in advance, you will be required to have them at check-in on Saturday/Sunday check-in times, or by Monday's late check-in in the worst case. Players who do not submit their music by the final check-in on Monday will be scratched, so it's better if you send your music now if you can!

If you bring your music at check-in, please make sure to have it on a CD or USB stick in WAV or MP3 format and pre-edited as described in this email. Bringing your music on an mp3 player does not guarantee that we can copy it (IE:Ipods do not allow copying off them)

i have no clue what you are talking about. my music will be in cd format and as always you will have to run 34 second off of it!!!

Thanks for everyone who already sent their musics. I recommend everyone else to do the same. No chance to forget to bring your song if you have sent it beforehand. Also fastens up the check-in process.

Hi Marty,

yes we will have semifinals for open and mixed doubles. We have also updated the schedule and semifinals for doubles will be on Tuesday. Please check: http://www.footbag.org/worlds2011/tournament/schedule/ for updated one. Exact pool times will be handed out at check-in.
