As with all Boston jams, I'm fully in, like hackeysack-deep into this tournament. Crash space requested. Granted? Great! I'll see you there!

Woo hoo! New Page!

cool cool cool. i've gotten off work so i'm almost guaranteed, just have to figure out how to get there. Jon, i will probably be in touch to see if i can hitch. also, if nick p or drew krause are witholding any valuable bus information, they should surrender it to me, the sooner the better.

KEVIN- Plz update first post with new information, including list of attendees (dont forget the sweeeets grlz), my cell phone number (written thusly: Six One Seven-894-0797), my address (Thirty Two Raven St, Boston, MA, 02125) and copy and paste all the information related beloooow:

Friday night is casual hang out at my place, those that really want to can kick nearby but i dont totally recommend it.
Saturday if its not raining we'll be kicking outside all day near my house at http://maps.google.com/maps/place?rls=c ... 9697985909
Joe Moakley Park on a nice bouncy track, or possibly on the beach across the street. Id like to start competitions early afternoon around 1-2 PM, but the idea im fishing is that we will start comps WHEN MOST PEOPLE PLAYING ARE WARMED UP AND READY. what a novel idea. it'll be a lot like in NYC last month (ie, casual) Were doing Circle, Sick 3, and Request if people want to (doug and kevin are working on competiton details) please let me know as soon as possible if you are competing. There will be NO intermediate competitions unless we get miraculously flooded with intermediates. assume there will be NO INTERMEDIATE COMPS, OPEN ONLY.
If its raining, we will be playing at a small gym, also very close to my house. waiting for confirmation to give address, will have that by tuesday.
people can play for as long as they want, as people finish we will start eating at my place, then whoever wants to can caravan over to http://www.bostonbowl.com/ for bowling and pool. party at my place after, nighttime shred possible but would have to be outside. also possibly thinking of hitting my favorite bar saturday night if anyone wants to. remember, good amount of crash space at my place, overflow can stay with doug or downstairs at my parents where it will be very quiet and relaxing, my parents are EXTREMELY hospitable and will take good care of anyone staying there (no smoking (weed, and no cigs inside) or drinking at my parents).
Sunday we'll get up hopefully around 1030 and take the train and cars downtown for shred, etc etc. then everyone goes home.

hm what else what else....

^^^ +1 excited for the BTD ^^^

And, I also need crash-space.

And, I want to make sure everybody near me is making good plans for transportation. I've spoken with David "Boats" Beyers -- Boats is driving up, and should have room for NYFA kickers in his vehicle. Drew and Bruce, you should speak to Boats soon, and let me know if this situation needs correcting...

I am also driving up, and so far I still have room in my car for anyone else in the central/north New Jersey area who needs a lift. Also, I can take somebody from eastern PA if they can get at least part-way to meet me in central Jersey. Mike Toolan, I'm looking at you!

Is there anybody else out there who wants a lift AND IS ON MY WAY? (or can get to me?). My plan is to begin my journey mid-afternoon on Friday, August 12.

I'm sorry to have to say, but I've had a sudden change of plans -- I cannot come to Boston next week. Family matters...

NO INTERMEDIATES, MAN UP AND HIT SOME 3 ADDS BUT REAL TALK IF YOU CAN'T YOU SHOULD COMPETE ANYWAYS CAUSE EVERYONE COULD USE THE EXPERIENCE AND ITS WHATEVER CAUSE WE ALL SUCK ANYWAYS.

So everyone knows, my street is a dead end and a pain in the ass to park on. look at signs when parking for street cleaning and stuff like that. if you cant find a spot let me know and you can park around the corner in my parents driveway.

feel free to text me and let me know ahead of time what time you'll be getting into town

thx

Big ups to Pete for his Northern hospitality! I hope everybody had as much fun as I did, shred was great, food was great, people were great.

Hopefully we'll see all you guys at East Coast's! Anyone who wants to come down a day early and crash at the castle is more than welcome to do so.

Pete, I think I left a pillow and a phone charger at your place, I don't need the pillow but if you could send the phone charger that would be awesome. It probably weighs as much as the glasses that you left at my place, so it should all even out, postage-wise :)
