This was always my intention. Footbag was dangerous to my knees before. But 60 lbs lighter I'm shredding the best I ever have. Set two records for myself in last nights session: Highest tiltless string (39) and highest consec clippers (78). Feel good about footbag. And while I doubt I'll ever be able to truly compete at an Open Level in large tournaments, that isn't why I play. I just want to get to a level that I can blow non-players minds and keep the bag in the air for a long time.

Also glad to hear you're trippin' on footbag these days. It's always good to get high from footbag. As for what you said in the last post... "I doubt I'll ever be able to truly compete at an Open Level in large tournaments." I think you should write down that quote and the date you said it. Hide that piece of paper for a while and try to prove it wrong. You're already on your way.

The other night, I accidentally did something similar. When I was BARELY tiltless a while ago, I wrote down all of these tricks that I really wanted, but I thought they were so far off. I was sifting through my junk the other night in my room and found those papers. I read what I had written, and I felt so accomplished. Lots of the stuff without check marks next to the name (which means I had never hit that link/trick before) are now things that are part of my normal strings. It was such a cool flashback. I called Spinning Squeeze "Greasy Panda" lol I totally forgot about that.

Another similar story.. Jackson Raap once said "I'll never be good at Difters" I wrote that quote down and the day he said it, and 2 weeks ago, the bastard hits Smoke... Yep, he was right, he'll never be good at Drifters  lol Did something similar to Bob the other night, he just doesn't know it yet

So, I think it'll be a cool idea for you to write that quote down and some tricks you don't think you'll ever hit and hide it somewhere in your personal belongings, then with you're Ales Zelinka doing hand stand pushups and throwing down Superdooperfly BSOS, you can read that stuff and have a good laugh. Just an idea. Keep at it though. Oh and I vote, don't drop footbag for the winter :D

Wow. There's an eye opener. I'm watching The Biggest Loser Season 1. They just did their first weigh in and I was heavier than about more than half of them. 8O

But I'm not anymore.

Bring it! And thanks for the props. I've been working hard.

57 Minute session in the cold and rain. What's wrong with me??!? Also got my HRM watch yesterday.
Time in Zone: 46:12
AVG BPM: 144
Peak BPM: 178
Cal: 937

I don't have anything to base the results on, but 937 calories seems way too high. I calculated my Max BPM at 185. I'm not sure if that's right either, but that's what the method in the book came out to. Anyways, onto some highlights:

 clip set near double pick up bs
 clip set near double pick up BSOS
 48 alternating clippers
 38 tiltless contacts
 clip set dlo a few times bs
 footed drifter > drifter a few times.
 Push Ups: 17/17/17

Feeling good about where my game is going. Since hitting 30 tiltless for the first time I've been able to hit it again each session. I'm starting to hit some harder 3's mid string and learning more and more 3's. Footbag is fun.

Kicked a bit at lunch. Got through my pick up and switch drills and was starting to mess with a new drill (mirage>atw>illusion>orbit) when a co worker wanted to film me so I did some strings instead. He filmed with his iPhone. Then he started asking about leauges and competitions so we sat on Youtube for the rest of our break. I showed him Vasek's Euro's routine and then the new stanford vid explaining that Vasek was the world champ for a long time, but now Milan is. He watched him for a few seconds and said "I can see why." I showed him a few single trick vids as well. He seems interested, but never asked to try it. And he's moving soon. He's hardcore into Hockey. He's shooting for the NHL and actually moving to be in a town with a better junior team. I doubt he'd pick up another sport at this stage, but maybe his interest is sparked enough. He was asking if World's is televised so he could watch.

It was raining and I finally broke down and said screw it to shredding in the pouring rain so instead I did the P90X Stretch X workout. I think my body needed some serious stretching. I've played footbag more in the last few weeks than I've played in probably the last 6 years. It's felt nice and I've made some real tangible improvements and even knocked some goals off my list, but I needed to stretch my legs out and this workout was awesome. Didn't get my heartrate up at all, but it'll mean I can shred hard more after.

Pixie Paradon = Dimmiest I think? Nuts as hell man. I've never even gotten a look at that one yet. Madd props on that one. If you want other 3 dexes, work your DLOs for a little while and hit Smog and Fog. In my opinion, those are the some of the easiest 3 dexes. Pixie Paradon is crazy man, seriously. Awesome stuff. Keep doin it yo.

Thanks Nick.

30 minute session at the new place. Only thing I'll miss about the old place is my outdoor shred space. I played in the kitchen here, it was bad, but not the space I'm used to having. It's also hot as hell in here. Main floor for the lose when it comes to hot summer. Anyways, didn't hit much. My left knee/thigh is hurting, and my right glute. Think I may have done some damage moving.

Random life post:

I've switched jobs. Not away fromStaples like I'm hoping to, but I have become the technician here. It is pretty cool as I get to chill in my own office and listen to music while fixing stuff. Which so far I enjoy. Hopefully its not just a luxary thing that will waer off in time... Anyways its good. I've still got my eye out for a non retail job.

We got into our new place. Its great to have more than one room available and have our tv set up again. The place even comes with cable. We still need to figure out whereeverything is gonna go, but overall its nice to havea home. I think this everytimewe move, but hopefully this will be home until we can afford a place of our own.

On the fitnessside of things... I was extremely happy to find thatI am down to 175 lbs. Playing footbag and eating decently hasbeen working. With that in mind I've decided to keep focusing on footbag into the fall. I'll do P90X and insanity over the winter when my footbag drive always gets a bit lower. I hope to at least keep playing at work once in a while, to keep my skills sharp.
