ive yet to say this is cool or not because they say its the worlds hardest game.... NETBAG IS WAY WAY HARDER what the hell man.

Looks like TAKRAW to me.... Definitely a difficult sport. It's not that the game is hard to play... It's that the ball is made out of bamboo and HURTS when it hits you.

Yeah, that's sepak takraw. Lots of fun; I play that every sunday. Main differences with footbag net is that it's 3 on 3, serving is different (as seen in video, one person hand tosses it to guy in back), you don't have to alternate kicks between players (ie one player can kick it three times in a row), and you can use your head, shoulders, knees, etc. In net, knees and anything above is a body foul.

A couple footbaggers have had success crossing over into Takraw, notably Sebastien Verdi.

The ball is actually made of synthetic fiber and it may have a rubber covering to soften the impact. That said, it must still hurt very bad, especially worn in the nuts.

I think its the other way around isn't it? Takraw is much older than Footbag net if I am correct. I would imagine Footbag net is biting off Takraw.

Unless there is the coincidence that two similar games were created in different continents at different times.

Well the game is very similar. But maybe it is i dont know the history i just posted that to get view and start a conversation XD but i still believe that Net is way harder. just think about the size of the bag compared to the ball.

I'd like to think that net is harder too, having played both. I have competed in a handful of Net events the past 4 years I've been playing but only played a few casual games of Takraw with no more than 2 people that actually knew what the hell they were doing. They have different grades of takraws for men, women, beginners and pros. Based on kicking the purple beginners grade and owning 2 mens pro takraws, I have come to the conclusion that they must all hurt like hell. The larger dimensions of the takraw, 3 man teams and contact rules do combine to make it easier to get into vs Net I think. I cant seem to find it at the moment but Jeremy Mirken, whose has competed in both sports, mentions Takraw players start training earlier, play at a higher level for a longer time than net players.

Takraw is much older and there are far more players than Net players

The ball is made of high impact plastic and is held together with rivets. It hurts, but the pain feels so good. Try it sometime if you have the chance. One word of advice, don't try the roll spike on your first day.

i played with a broken in one in portland. Flash and I played with these Laosian dudes a couple of times. It was softer than the one zeke has for sure. It did cut my eye though.
