@dan: thanks for your comment!! :) you're welcome any time!! don't know though how long we'll stay...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hello modified,

long time, no post.
actually there are not many highlights to post, but i felt like posting again.
i'm in copenhagen right now...it's sad to see that the footbag scene isn't very active...i'm here now for over a month and have played 3 times with other people (unfortunately those weren't my best sessions either). i hope i can stay motivated and stick to some solo sessions...

the strange thing is that sometimes it also feels good to not feel responsible for the whole footbag scene in a city. like in vienna i was always trying to motivate people, get new people to start playing...i was always afraid that the footbag scene would die. each time i played, i sent like 20 sms to people etc.
(i think i really managed to get a few people into footbag though)...

so i haven't been playing a lot...the other day i've hit stepping ss whirl>blurry whirl (definitely not new) and blurry whirl>motion first try though.
i've also hit stepping ss blender a while ago.

thanks to lise's sister, anne, i've found a really nice football club though. :) really happy about that!! :) i'm playing 3 times soccer/week at the moment, but unfortunately the season is soon over, maybe that means more footbag sessions we'll see.
:)

hehe, alex, you're right, definitely not good for my footbag career.
thanks for the suggestion. i think i'll change it to blurry whirl>pdx torque>motion though.
i've hit pdx torque>motion the other day, so the first link should be actually easy.

unfortunately my motivation is really low at the moment...last thursday (the only weekly training session here in copenhagen) there were only paul and i, a friend of mine that wanted to try footbag (don't know though if she is going to give it another try) and nis. i was so happy to play with nis, but unfortunately he had to stop after a short time, because his foot started to hurt.

i really wanted to play yesterday (the weather was good as well), but each time after a soccer match my whole body hurts...this time even the referee said during the match that a lot of people foul me. after hardly moving for a day i still feel like somebody's beaten me up. :(

hello modified,

i've just come home from danish championships...too early i guess, but i'm still tired from yesterday and have to read some futsal rules now, as i'm playing a soccer tournament tomorrow and have to explain the others on my team how futsal actually works. :P

danish championships have been really nice and chilled so far. it's been the smallest tournament i've ever been too, it feels more like a (footbag) family reunion. ;) i hope that more people will find the motivation to come to the weekly training session on thursdays.
i could also use some motivation. :P haven't been playing a lot in the last months...
like in every competition (also when there's only like 5 people watching) i sucked hardcore. guess competing is nothing's for me. ;)
i've hit a few new combos the last couple of weeks...blurry whirl>pdx torque>far motion, motion>pdx blender and pdx blender>motion...i've footed pdx torque>pdx blender>motion a few times now, but have never sealed it.

paul hit his first DLO the other day. :) think he'll soon hit a few more 3 adds...he's getting closer at a few other ones.

mathias blau hit a really good shred30 today!! he's got 210 points. 8O big props!!

edit: messed up my fearless links so that they weren't fearless anymore. ;)

Time to post again! :P

Missed the legendary Thursday session in Copenhagen, but managed to attend the legendary Friday session in Vienna.
Was great to see the footbag-vienna crew again!!
Played in a nice circle with Alex and Julian. As expected, Alex hit some very nice runs with great variety, Julian had also made nice improvements and could show some nice stepping sets and pixie ducking.
Some tricks from my side: Stepping ss torque, blurry torque, whirling ss butterfly. Had a couple of okay tries for double blender... hope to hit that soon.
Combo of the day: Food processor>simple swirl

My goal for this season is to keep playing twice a week... not always so easy to combine football training (+ match) with footbag... and then there's this PhD which also takes quite a lot of time. ;)

Woop! I like the idea of Double Blender.
You should be able to hit that soon.

You and Paul were missed both friday and thursday. :(

Looking forward to kick again soon!

Awesome to hear that you're still playing hard. How is the PhD going? Double blender would be great.
