What?! You married a woman?

Interesting reads. I do not really have any experience from flirting with a guy, finding out he's taken. If it ever happened, I guess I would continue to interact with the guy but not do anything more than harmless flirting if at all.

I respect others' relationships...even if I know the girl treats him like crap. If a person comes to me about his or her relationship, though, I may point out that the significant other is not worth it and encourage him or her to get out of the relationship.

I don't know. There is actually this situation where a guy (a good friend) was REALLY interested in me, but I wasn't really into him in that way. As time passed, I realized I was becoming interested, and by the time I thought to give it a shot, he had a girlfriend all of a sudden...now engaged. I've held back in respect to this relationship, and I just wonder. Now I hear she is not all that great to him. It is like I want to tell him how I feel, but as I said, I do not really want to be a possible "home-wrecker."

Sorry if that went a lil' off-topic. I guess to answer Sergey's question, I would think something like, "Okay, great. Wanna keep talking in friendly terms?" From there on, we can finish our conversation or whatever and never see each other again or we can build on to a friendship. No big deal.

When this happens to me I will usually turn a mild green color, grow 3x my height, then say "CHRIS ANGRY! CHRIS SMASH GIRL!"

I revisited this thread in a pretty roundabout manner, but after re-rading it all, I laughed so hard. Andrew's comment was gold, but this part had me wiping tears from my eys:

To be honest Sergey, reading your posts and looking at your pic, you scare the shit out of me. :?

Another question is: what do you do when she says he's just a friend?

Girl: "I have a boyfriend."

Me: "I have a fish named Steve"

Girl: "Huh?"

Me: "Oh sorry, I thought we were talking about things that didn't matter."

Winning.
