I will be hosting a footbag get together on Sunday Dec 18th at my gym Genuine Fitness in Eugene Or. There will be multiple different flooring styles to kick on, loud music, and cold water provided. We will kik off at 12 noon and kick until our feet cant carry us anymore. Please come and enjoy the Northwest holiday Season!

Kurt called me this afternoon and told me about the session, but I'm sorry to say that my attendance is a long-shot. If it was any later in the day I would probably be able to make it. I will be coming into town from Boise that afternoon/evening for the holidays. It's about ten hours to Eugene from Boise, and I have to stop in Sisters to visit my aunt and uncle. I would have to leave around midnight to make all that happen. Hopefully we can find some other time to kick over the break. See you then.

Would love to see you there Cale! This is the inspiration I've been needing. Been feeling a bit frustrated with footbag and unsure how much further my bones will allow me to go. sciatica, shin splints, body aches in general.. gettin old sucks lol.. Hoping it's a phase though. Just the first time in 3 years that I've been going more than a couple days in between playing. That burning desire or need to play has diminished some what.
I envy the players that have others to shred with on a regular basis to help push you. No one seems to be interested in taking it to a new level on the coast. I guess you learn to appreciate the countless hours you put into it though as progression doesn't happen over night that's for damn sure..
Can't wait to see everyone there!

I'm surprised I haven't seen any 'awesome jam' comments here! I had a great time down in Portland/Eugene. This is the first jam I've been to since I started seriously playing.

Nick Landes and Jake Wren were awesome hosts, and I even got a sweet new bag that matches my normal shred attire. I can't wait to repay the favor in the future. Big thanks to Larry Workman for the Advil that allowed me to play at all on Sunday. Aaron Orton, you are the man for putting this on and letting us chill and watch the game afterward.

I think I still have many months ahead of being the crappiest player at these kind of events, but can't wait for the next one.
