Props on 50 infinity, that's a nice round number.

Oh, and if your wife hasn't found you a perfect Christmas gift yet, you may want to point her in this direction.

Thanks Ken! It was a summer goal I made so I got it a little ahead of schedule. Really had to push the last few contacts and nearly collapsed right after. And as far as TOR goes... it looks amazing. All my old pals from SWG have been in the beta for months. But I quit swg and said I'd never play another mmo because SWG sucked my life away. I got way too addicted to it. I still miss it even though it's been shut down. lol

Insanity Day 44: Max Interval Circuit

Feeling tight in my left hamstring tonight. Not sure what's up with that. Got through the workout ok, but felt sluggish and lazy a fair bit. Guess I'll see what the numbers say.

Insanity Day 46: Max Recovery

Oh ya! I liked that. Well most of it. I didn't like the hip flexor heals up part, but the rest felt good. I wish I had drug my self outta bed this morning, but it felt nice this evening regardless. Gotta get up in the morning to do Max Cardio Conditioning so I can do Insane abs after work. Don't have the time to do both in the morning and I really don't want to do nothing but work out after work...

Insanity Day 47: Max cardio Conditioning and Insane Abs

I told myself I had to get up in the morning to do Max CC so that I could do Abs tonight after work. I hit snooze a few too many times. Got up and changed into my workout gear regardless but just could not get the body going. Had a terrible nutrition day. Donuts, rice crispy cake, more donuts. I figured I'd come home have a light spinach salad and get my workout on. I walked in the door and smelt food. My wife had made pizza for supper. And she had made me a special pizza because I don't like tomato sauce. How could I say no... The good news? She put spinach on my pizza. The bad news? I ate 4 slices. Sat and watched TV for about 40 minutes and then got ready for workout.

PIZZA + MAX CARDIO CONDITIONING = BAD

I tried to push hard, but a lot of the jumping moves made me feel sick. I dialed back instead of pushing myself to the point of sickness because that would make me stop. As is I kept my HR up and kept going. I feel I did pretty good. Then Insane Abs. I laughed out loud at a few of the things that Shaun told me to do, but overall did pretty good. I'm hoping for a good burn because I need it.

Insanity Day 48: Max Interval Sports Training

Decided I needed to step it up and went for Sports training instead of Cardio and Balance. Been a pretty bad week with both workouts and nutrition. And I am going to a funeral this afternoon so I'm sure to eat bad. I'll try my best not to though. This workout went pretty good. I loved the boxing part. I don't what it is about boxing in workouts, but I always love it. It went somewhat down hill from there. Sports Training, why can't it be sports I like? You know, like fuseball, hacky sack, frisbee... that kind of thing. It's gotta be mostly ones I HATED in school! Anyways, I kept going. Feel like I got a good sweat on.

Insanity Day 49: Rest

I was in my home town for a funeral yesterday so we spent the night at Mom's place. This morning I did Power 90 Sweat 1-2 with my mom and sister. I'm proud of them for making the effort to work through this program. It's really hard for them right now. I remember when I had a ton of problems doing that program too. This morning I blew through it with no problem at all. A few times I would look down at my HRM and see that I was below my "zone" even though I was keeping pace with the DVD so I stepped it up and pushed harder to get my HR up. Even the dreaded Power Yoga wasn't an issue for me. It's nice to know that I truly am getting healthier and stronger and have something like that as a reference point. Feels good. I've been having so many issues with Insanity and that can leave me feeling weak and inadequate, but since I used to feel that way with POWER90 and can kill it now, I feel better. Growth.

Insanity Day 50: Max Interval Circuit

After an hours rest, some supper and another few hours rest I decided to try and conquer the rest of today's workout. I went in a little skeptical about how I could perform, but made a mental effort to push past that feeling and that fear of being sick and just get a good workout in. I feel it helped. It also helped that my wife was in the kitchen seperating all my veggies for lunch into little weighed and labeled baggies. She's so awesome. I wanted to push hard to make what she was doing for me worth the effort. It took her the whole time I was working out to do all the veggies. Anyways, I didn't get sick and feel it was a good workout. What do the numbers say?

And for people clicking on here looking for some sort footbag discussion... I've been stitching pretty regularly. Friday morning I finished one that I am actually quite happy with. It turned out smaller than I wanted, but may be the perfect size for a mini. I'll be holding onto that template. In the mean time I created a new, larger template and traced and cut out the panels for a new bag this evening. I'll start stitching it soon. My last bag can be seen in the "Bags I've Made" thread. Feel free to leave any advice or critiques of it either here or over there. I only have 3 colors of USL at the moment and am getting sick of the color combo's available... so far I've only done soccer ball patterns. I'd to start branching out and trying things like blur and whatnot, but I don't really know where to start.

As you can tell, no actual playing for a little while. Just under 2 weeks left of insanity and then I'll get a few weeks in of shred.

Insanity Day 51: Max Interval Plyo

Quads and whatever is behind them felt really tight tonight. Not sure what's up but I pushed through. Got a pretty good workout in, but didn't burn as much as I wanted to, so I played a little bit of Hacky Sack afterward to get me over the 1000 mark.

 12 same side clippers both sides
 18 same side clippers both sides
 12 ducking clippers

Alright, so the highlights were not awesome, but I'm happy with them after an hour long insanity workout and with a rather rolly bag. But at least the bag is playable. I'm getting better. I started stitching my next bag. Gonna try it as a 3 stitch. Feeling good. Time for Turkey Tacos.

Insanity Day 52: Max Cardio Conditioning

Will be doing Insane Abs tomorrow. Just don't have the time for two on Tuesdays. My workout today? Pitiful. I skipped pretty much all the squat works. Quads are really bothering me. Didn't work too hard, but I got my sweat on a little bit.

Quick Goals Post:

While part way through reading Convict Conditioining I set a goal of being able to do Step 5 of each of the 6 Steps. I've finished reading the book now, and at the end there was a section on how to train and Paul Wade said that what I had been planning is the stupid way to train. So, while I'm sure I could make it if I pushed myself I'm going to rethink that goal and do something along the lines of:

 be able to do Level 2 of the first 4/6 Steps really really good

I'll be doing Calisthenic training 2 days a week while playing footbag the other 4. Expect Highlights for the last 3 weeks in January.

Insanity Day 55: Core Cardio and Balance

Great workout. No work for me today so I slept in a bit and was able to take time to wake up a bit before jumping into my workout. I even made my wife breakfast in Bed and started a load of laundry. Then I hit my workout. This one feels so good. Don't get me wrong, I hate parts of it, but others just feel so great. I was able to get through the hip flexors and Arm Burners again with no pauses. Not sure why but it feels good gettin through those.

Well, just applied for a job. It's part time, so I'll be staying at Staples for the foreseeable future, but it may be a step towards or away from becoming a personal trainer. I applied to be a Casual Fitness Monitor at a local Gym. I figure it'll give me some experience in being in the fitness industry if you will, and maybe give me the opportunity to talk to PT's and see what I think of the job. If I don't like it, then I won't pursue that career path.

I'm more than a little worried about the hours, seeing as it's mornings, evenings and weekends... but I might be able to make it work. This is all assuming I even get a call back...
