So emotional day.

You know how people post about things that annoy them on facebook. Just little things like "My kitty scratched me." or "Crap, my team lost! I'm so upset right now." and "I'm out of my favourite cereal.

"? I spent all night cruely laughing at all those status updates, and wishing that they were the only problems I had and what made me feel bad inside. Don't get me wrong, I've posted crap like that and at the time it seemed an issue.

I can honestly say I cannot remember a day as bad as this one. Today I lost my unborn child. A little piece of me is dead. It feels like a big piece actually. It's weird because I never saw, heard or talked to this little being, but I guess I was quite attached to it. I had been calling it chewie since at some point in the gestation period fetus' get covered in hair (at least that's what a book I read said) so I thought of wookies and nicknamed it chewie. Much to my wife's displeasure.

I'm gonna miss ya little guy.

We found out there was possibly trouble on Wednesday and I spent the last 2 days convincing myself it was normal. That it was fairly common and could mean nothing was wrong. Well, it's true, it is fairly common and could mean nothing was wrong. But in out case, with our little Chewie, something was wrong. I got a text from Natel about an hour after arriving at work. She said she needed a ride to the Hospital for an ultrasound so I hopped on my bike and pedalled as fast as I could home. 3 hours in various waiting rooms later and I find myself in a small room with my wife and a doctor who states, in his thick accent that I can't place, "This pregnancy is over." I can imagine a lot of words that could break my heart, but I could never have come up with those in my wildest dreams, but there they are. Ringing my head.

I started playing Assassin's Creed II last night. Something to take my mind off other matters. It's fun. I'm slightly obbsessed. I tend to stay away from games I view as violent unless they have 'star' and 'wars' in the title, then my moral code allows it, but for some reason I decided to play this. And start with the second game... It's been nice to get to escape to that roof top ancient Italy throughout the day today. Immerse myself in the world and story and pretend like my father and brother have been killed and I need to avenge their deaths. Ya, violent video games are bad...

Good things:

-our trip to Florida is back one.
-hmmm...

Dude, I was at my friends' band's punk show when I read your blog. My mouth gaped and I was completely stunned when I read the news.I had also gotten nailed in the temple by some dude's elbow in the circle pit just before I read it, which h didn't help. I had to leave before their band even came on. I'm so sorry to hear the news. I feel like this happened to my brother, that's how close it hits home. Because what it really comes down to in this world of footbag is... we're all brothers and sisters. Glad footbag helped you cope. I always play when there is a death in my family. It helps more than any non-player could realize. Time heals all wounds. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for the kind words (and puppies) my brothers. In a way I am sorry I dumped my feelings on unsuspecting readers like that. But I'm grateful for the comfort from you and I know that one day I'll want to go back and read what I was feeling at this time.

We are working through our feelings. Time heals all wounds. You know what doesn't heal wounds? Pepsi. Or Fundip. But they sure are tasty! Make my insides feel bad though. Tomorrow I go back to eating good.

I love star wars. And this episode was awesome. I'm still waiting to hear how Maul survived, but I love what they did with him. He even matches the Tales comics, which may mean that was cannon... That'd be weird. Either way, Maul is a BAMF and I can finally say I'm glad they brought him back.

I jerked my head away from the screen when I saw your spoiler alert! Thanks! I'll download it now. I had a terrible spoiler experience the other day. I bought a new comic I had been waiting for, decided to look at the sketches in the back, and one of the captions basically said not only how the book will end but the entire series

I'll come back once I've watched. I haven't seen 21 yet either.

5 red blades in one fight without other colors was crazy, and a little hard to keep track of. I kinda wish Maul had got a dual blade though. I don't think Oppress should have had a dual blade at all. That's Maul's thing. Two of them with dual blades could be interesting though, as I'm sure Maul will get it back next season. Can't wait for next season!!!

Oh, is it the end of the season?

Did you notice how the title of the show was red for those last two episodes? Every single other episode it was yellow.
This show is so good. I don't know why more people don't talk about it? My 11-year-old cousin told me about it, actually, but it's so not a kid's show.

Good luck with your knee pain. I haven't been wearing my braces for a while, but I still have raw knees too. I think wearing the braces for years and taking supplements must have helped. I also did some strengthening, like, laying on my side and lifting the lower leg that's touching the ground, with the top leg out of the way. I'm not sure if it actually helped. It was also kind of specific for my knee problem, which has a lot to do with imbalanced muscles (probably from footbag), where the inner muscles are too weak compared to the outer, and hence my tighter outer muscles pull on my knee cap. It probably can't hurt to strengthen the muscles around the knees though.

Ya, Revenge was the last episode of the season. The red intro really caught me off guard at the start of Brothers. It really set the tone for a darker arc.

The show was pretty kid oriented when it first started... the movie was especially kiddy, but I love how they have made it darker and darker as it goes on. Can't wait for more next season and the intricacies and depth really speak for how great the live action TV show could be if they get that thing lifted off. OH! What did you think of Mother Talzind in that episode??

Yeah, the movie was pretty weak. Although I liked it more than how it seemed to have been generally received. Mother Talzin is badass. Ever since she almost killed Dooku, and then escaped Grievous, apparently... It was a little weird that she disappeared so suddenly after fixing Maul, though. Almost like she was scared? Also, I was expecting Maul to look more like Savage -- his face seems thinner than it was in Phantom Menace. Also, was his voice different? All the voices in the show are so spot-on, but I couldn't remember how Maul sounded in the movie.

I think Talzin just pops up to do her stuff, no other use in this story, so why keep her around. I wonder how she will rebuild the Nightsisters. The place was pretty wrecked. Reminds me of the hours I spent killing nightsisters in SWG. Maul's voice was different. I'm kinda surprised Ray Park didn't do it since he's pretty big on fan interaction, I thought he would jump at a chance to do more, but maybe they didn't even approach him. I dunno. A guy named Sam Witwer(sp?) did the voice. I figured the thinness was due to the years of a pathetic existence he's had. I'm still waiting to find out how he survived, but I'm sure he wasn't eating like the apprentice/tool of a wealthy Sith lord for all those years...

Yeah, didn't Ventress leave because the Nightsisters were killed out? But then in this last one, Talzin was, like, "We're doing okay." Maybe Maul was already half robot or something? Since there was no blood when he was cut in half in Phantom Menace..

Although I guess there wasn't blood anywhere in the Star Wars trilogies?.. You'd think there'd be blood when someone is cut in half...
