Hey guys.
Here's my first attempt at using the GoPro HD Hero 2. I think I learned a lot of things about it, like that I should set it up a bit closer. The one low angle wasn't very complimentary to some questionable dexes. And I know one of the spinning symp mirages was really pulled. I might also try to tweak the head-cam footage and re-export since it doesn't look as clear as it should (head-cam seemed to be pretty shaky for me though).
Anyway, comments would be great.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I knew that one spinning symp mirage was pulled when I did it. I kind of wanted to see if I could get through them all though. I think the last little apple is fine, though -- I was just off balance. I'm not sure if there's a good or bad side either -- it's just tough to get a full spin on the pdx midstring. Also, yeah, the track's from Zelda, but I couldn't tell you from which game or anything since I never played Zelda.
I felt that a lot of double dexes were thin, though.

ejoyed so much!!! ty. you are playing without protection on your knee, props! and maybe u cant use rod or quantum because the tipical shoes of footbag hasn´t gel o air cam no? I have problems on my knees too and i was looking for this shoe: http://reviews.nike.com/9191/343845/nik ... eviews.htm
I think is a good shoe to play, see some videos of the shoe and coment me if is apropiated to play. If i keep playing with lavers my knees will break
.
Love your reverse whirls routines!

This is also probably the first notable session since a major injury in 2009, so hopefully I can make up for some lost time and get back to where I was when I last left off. I'm still struggling with runs (especially in solo sessions), which is why it was mostly short combos. And, yeah, I used 120fps on the headcam stuff, but it's hard to tell because of the shakiness (less so on the rubberman, I feel). Everything else was 60fps.
Bigfoot: those shoes look pretty slippery to me without much room for inside modification (I can only see the outside from that picture, but assume the inside is similar). The shoes I use have some slippery plastic too, but Tom Mosher showed me how to remove it on the inside surfaces. They're very difficult to play in with the plastic in tact. I can't really recommend anything other than the Climacools I use, but they are hard to find. I know other people use some other more supportive shoes. I think there's a New Balance model... I don't really know much more than that though.

Hey dude, is not "bad" for the knee, but if u have problems with your knees jump all time with shoes without no gel or air cam is bad. I played with a normal nike running shoes, and after session i hadnt any hurt but with lavers... 1 hour and i need to put ice on my knees. Whirl is a destroyer move for me. I was injured for 2 large years and i dont want to repeat that time, I want to play for years and i feel with Rod laver i will cant.ThisIsFate wrote:I am sorry, but why rod laver is bad for knee? Cause that's the only shoe I got

I didn't think the shakiness was all that bad at all.
Very good image throughout, and it was cool to see the angles varied throughout. It'd be cool to see you get some footage in front of some scenic backgrounds, like graffitti.
Shredwise, enjoyed all the dlos and eggs. Good to see you busting hard again.
Thanks for the vid.
