Sup folks? The New York Footbag Association is planning the sixth annual NYFA jam and we were wondering who would want(5 w words in a row) to attend? We are going to run it just like last year, which was a very informal event with a play it by ear atmosphere and very little comp. We will do circle if people want and any other comp if their is enough interest. I believe that Big Snow has offered to host a party but Boats will need to confirm or deny this. There should be plenty of crash space for all just like all other events we've had in the past. I am thinking that the last weekend in July would be a good time 7/27-7/29. People can come to our event as a worlds warm up.
What does everyone think? Does any other date seem better to folks?
If it was the weekend before or after East Coasts, I'd be able to go. But you probably don't want to have tournaments in NYC on consecutive weekends. I say have it in early Summer, to put some space between it and East Coasts, to maximize anticipation and fun for the locals.
I think mid july is the best(i mean i will not be there i will be in europe). Ken the venues are diff enough that i do not think it would bother the ECFC at all.
But you are possibly right. I am gone as of the 19th of july, so the 16th and 17th would be my only possible dates.
I wish more people would respond, we have two yes and two no. I don't want to change the date for two people and have people not come because it's not a good weekend for them. If you are thinking of coming please let me know.

I'm in for whenever dude. Just say the dates. What if we did it earlier in July? Like July 7? That would give everyone almost a month to plan it. The 15th is straight too.
July 6-8 or July 27-29? decisions decisions. I like the original dates of late july and I think that is when we will schedule it. We will do Saturday in Washington square park and sunday in mccaren park in brooklyn. Woop, woop, where da hype at? NYC BLOWIN' UP!
If everyone wants to do that we could. I'm not hooked on the idea though. Mccaren has a lot of energy too but in a different way, it also has lots more space.
