Shred spot made of concrete

Post by Anz »

A couple of weeks ago I made a concrete slab at my summer cottage for the sole purpose of playing footbag on it.

Here's some photos of it:

Some specs:
There is 875 kg of cement.
It's about 2,1 * 2,6 meters in size (~5,5 m^2), which is fine for one player.
The slab is about 7 cm thick.
Total time spent on it was about 20 hours.

Total cost for materials was about 100 euros.

I have some instructions on how to do it on the photos, but if someone is interested in building their own, get in touch and I'll give more details.

Expect videos from a nice scenery.

Wow, props on good work!

Will you play on concrete or use some sort of carpet or smth?

Edit: ops, sorry, i've missed the last photo

Awesome. I love the sacrifice.
I'm curious why you didn't just make it a square though. Are you going to put dirt right up to it or will it stay elevated above ground level like that? I'd be worried of migrating and twisting my ankle on the edge.
