First and foremost, props to the tournament organizers. JFC1 was the first footbag tournament in asia, and the fact that it's been going on for 10 years now makes me extremely happy.

Props to Taishi for winning the big one. That's awesome. I really hope video of the top finishes gets posted soon; I'd love to see them. Props to Henmo for his sick3 too...that's a great one.

Rene- holy crap this guy is everywhere! Seriously though, I think it's cool that for the second year in a row, a top foreign player attended the Japanese Champs. I know it gets everybody excited and makes for good press. I still remember Honza's email from last year, telling me what a great time he had at JFC and thanking me for my involvement in starting the Japanese scene.* While logistics may prevent Worlds from ever realistically happening in Japan, I definitely encourage everybody to go visit the scene there at least once. Can't find nicer players in the world.

Any word on where next year's JFC will take place? I definitely want to come back one year for one of these.

Ken,

I agree, the tournament organizers have done an awesome job every year that I have attended. Thanks guys!

I think there should be video up soon.

I also think it's great that Taishi won; he is the one person in Japan who has devoted more time to footbag than anyone else, and he deserves it.

Rene is a really great person, and I had a blast with him when he was at my house (and at the tourney, and after the tourney). His shred is also great too, and has motivated me to start training again.

As far as JFC 2013, the trend has been Tokyo > Osaka > rpt, so I am guessing next year is Osaka. I hope I will be able to make it back here; I will be in NZ from May, but if I have money and time, I will definitely be here.

On a side note, I would like to add that in all my years of playing, this was the first tournament that I:
1. Went dropless in finals;
2. Went dropless in semi-finals and finals.

I am really happy about that.
