I've started thinking about my travel plans for the holidays and wanted to know if this is something to consider.

I think in Tom's blog he questioned whether they'd do it or not, so it's at least in doubt. FWIW, I won't be able to attend this year regardless, due to a wedding I need to attend.

Unfortunately, CIC's not running/co-running it this year.
Tim and I talked about having a super low key jam if we find a spot, but he busy and time flies.

well if Davidson was still in charge i guarantee it would happen every year till he stopped baggin(which i doubt will ever happen) but It seems CIC cant handle the pressure. Just tell Scott to run the tourney so we can all enjoy Chicago+Footbag this year.

Who told you Scott couldn't do NYJ? All it takes is drive/desire to have an event, and it seems you have it, so go for it.
