Okay. I probably waited too long to do this, but here are full details of the event.

1) My address is 400 Park Lane, State College, PA 16803. Arrival anytime Friday afternoon or Saturday morning would be fine. If you're getting here later than noon on Saturday, plan on meeting us at the event site instead, which is at Old Main in University Park, PA, about 10 minutes from my house.

2) If you are a driver, there's a chance we'll be moving your car to a downtown parking lot for the weekend to keep my driveway accessible. We'll try to keep the bigger cars at my place to act as shuttles back and forth. So be prepared for that.

3) No event fees. As such, competitions will be pretty low-key. All competitions will be Saturday unless we don't get to everything and people really want to hold events Sunday as well. Our plan is to try out a new head-to-head "battle" competition instead of circle, so get ready. Other events might include request, sick 3 and weird 1.

4) I will be making dinner and breakfast for everyone (probably spaghetti and oatmeal to keep things simple) so if you'd like to contribute to that, feel free. I have a few beds and couches, but plan on bringing what you need to be comfortable on the floor.

5) Net players: Plans right now are for you guys to set up a couple courts right next to the freestyle site. There is a big lawn there that is fairly flat and I have seen people set up volleyball courts on it before. That said, this area is not reservable, so if it's a beautiful day out and it's packed you might be fighting for space. If that's the case, I can point you all in the direction of a local park that should be amenable.

6) Player party Saturday night. I've got big backyard with a fire pit, a lit driveway/garage for 4-square, a basement in which to chill and play music, and plenty of room for everyone. it's gonna be rockin'.

7) Please send me a text at 8 1 4 4 0 4 2 4 2 0 with your name and let me know your ETA when you're on the way.

8) Someone bring a fire hack.

See everyone soon.

?

Doug must not have been at the same jam that I was at...

PA Jampionships was great, as usual.

Pros -- Nate Pipenberg's house was, once again, a great party location, fun and confortable and conveniently located, and full of food and drink. Also, there was plenty of space for shred and four-square at the same time. I think my life's goal now is to own a nice house full of food and drink and footbag, and blackjack and hookers. Come to think of it, never mind the food and drink and footbag.
-- Penn State's footbag club is awesome.
-- the turnout was really good --- I didn't even try to count how many shredders, it was bigger than last year (and there was net this year too)
-- Penn State and State College are cool.
-- Drew Martin made me laugh so hard I couldn't speak a single word for three minutes, but the joke was totally stupid and not worth repeating.

Cons -- It was pretty cold --- it f-ckin' snowed on 4/20 --- at least it was very sunny on 4/21.
-- Doug Tank is a wuss.
-- I left my backpack at Nate's house: I've got a pattern going on... last year I left my shoes at Nate's House. Despite this, I'd go back next year even if it meant leaving my wallet there or something...

 Dam, Jon S callin me out!

But ya I had a great time this past weekend. Nate was an exceptionally hospitable host, and Nick prolly did something too. :P Nah, Nick did a great job co-hosting this event. The kicking location was phenomenal and we even got to witness some random dude propose to his gf! The weather was kinda cold Saturday but there's nothing anyone could have done about that. Besides, it worked out pretty well bc it kept everyone from breaking out into a heavy sweat. But let's see, some highlights...

FRIDAY
-Gettin to Nate' house before he was home and eating his craisins while giving myself a tour of his house and stocking up on rubber bands
-Seeing MAnton again and shootin the shit with him all weekend
-Seeing Matt Kemmer again! His hair was pink!
-Playing 4square with everyone and winning simply by serving to Toolan who gave me free points
-Getting a bed to sleep on!
SATURDAY
-Waking up with a kitty next to me! :D
-Playing with said kitty for better half of my morning while everyone was asleep.
-Going to the Waffle Shop with 13 footbaggers and being a general nuisance and eating my Man Fruit Bowl.
-Nick scarfing down his food when the waitress came to collect plates.... and ended up not taking his plate.
-Kicking with Ryan Thomas who I hadn't seen in forever!
-Walking with Toolan and Mike A to get Pita Pit. Getting to the street with all the food and just standing in front of Snappys convenience for 10 minutes trying to decide which direction to walk in order to get to Pita Pit. Toolan deciding  , subsequently ending with us walking in the wrong direction for 20 minutes. Finding a Subway. Going in Subway. Toolan saying "I had Subway yesterday." Leaving Subway. Standing outside Subway for another 10 minutes trying to find Pita Pit on our phones. Mike A showing us that it's over 2 miles away. We decide to go to Chipotle which is .5 miles away in the OPPOSITE direction. Walking past the same Snappys we were at to begin with. Seeing a yellow punch buggy and punching Toolan. Seeing Chipotle sign in the distance and seeing a line out the door. Walking closer and realizing that line is for the restaurant NEXT to Chipotle! Huzzah! Going inside Chipotle and seeing a line just as long as the one going outside at the nextdoor restaurant. Walking away dejectedly.
-Walking about a hundred feet and seeing a sign for Pita Pit in the nearby alley.
-Eating Pita Pit for the first time. It was delicious.
-Watching Nate and Matt K rip shit up. Both BAP material in my opinion.
-Leaving the shred spot early with Toolan so we could get first dibs on showers. Stopping at Wegmans to get beer.
MT: "Everything looks too expensive"
DT: "They have a beer distributor nearby that sells in bulk"
MT: "Ok, let's go there."
DT: "Wanna get that?"
MT: "Nah, it's too expensive"
DT: "What about this?"
MT: "Nah, it's too expensive"
DT: "Well what do you wanna get?"
MT: "Hmmm...."
DT: "...."
MT: "Let's go back to Wegmans"
Seeing a blue punch buggy and punching Toolan. Getting to Wegmans and running into a bunch of other baggers.
DT: "WTF are you guys already doing here?!"
Getting back to Nate's and having to wait for a cold shower.
-The Hour of the Pig and Hornito
-Jon S laughing so hard he literally could not speak.
-More 4Sqaure
-Sassy Dan Greer
-Sassy John Goode
-Trading classic guitar/gypsy guitar/bass with Nate, Toolan, and Matt Cross while everyone else started going to sleep.
-MC playing piano and me singing Piano Man to everything he played.
-Getting to sleep on the bed AGAIN!
SUNDAY
-Waking up in time to go to breakfast with everyone.
-Hearing about Mikie pooring beer into Drew's bellybutton while he was asleep.
-Tried going to to Waffle Shop again but it was too busy so while everyone else made the wrong decision to go to Panama Bread or whatever, Kemmer, Nick, MAnton, John Goode, and a newer kid named Ben and myself all decided to go to HOSS'S Steak and Seafood, where we were all treated like the hoss's that we are. 8)
-Going inside Hoss's and someone saying "Is this an old person restaurant?" I asked the hostess if they served breakfast, to which she replied "no" so I asked her "Then why is everybody here?" to which she was speechless.
-Having an OKAY time at HOSS'S.
-John Goode running covert ops missions to give us more and more carrot cake, while I tried stealing MAntons jello through a straw.
-Nick looking guilty for eating said carrot cake.
-Vowing never to return to HOSS'S.
-Going to the shred spot and having the weather be much warmer than the previous day.
-Watching some net and juggling instead of kicking so I'd stop being pissed at myself for sucking. :x
-Playing with an Australian Labradoodle whose owner felt the need to persistently convince me was an AUSTRALIAN labradoodle even though I told her I understood her the first time she told me.
-Going to Baby's for dinner.
-Sitting on the bench with Corey and waving at cute girls in cars that drove by. One of them waved back! :D
-Eating Baby's and drinking their AMAZING milkshakes. So good.
-Going back to Nate's to relax for a few minutes before leaving and asking "Whose backpack is this?" (See Jon S's post above)
-Dropping Nick off at his apt and just shootin the shit with him about life stuff. :)

All in all a pretty awful horrible weekend, just like I said in my abridged post above.

It's not bad enough that you ate them...you had to rub it in their face by drinking their milkshakes? Doug Tank: baby eater and overall jerk.

Hey everyone, been a little while since my last post.. Also we had the Jampionships last weekend! I don't have enough time to do a full write up but I wanted to put in some highlights:

-Fire footbag & Fire juggle show with Kevin (PSU Juggling club president) and me

-Just hacky sacking with Ryan Thomas in our circle the first night.. Ryan did clippers and stuff while our PSU noobs were freaking out... Little did they know, this was Ryan Thomas.
-Shredding with Ryan Thomas

-Nate hitting Nuke Torque just as the bass dropped on a dubstep song during Saturday's shred. Possibly coolest moment of jam.

-George Hayward showing up and hitting some stepping tricks

-Selling all of Jay’s bags for him!
-Talking with Dan Greer about Furious sets, Barflys, and life, in general
-Watching Doug steal Anton’s jello through a straw
-As I was trying to sneakily house some cake off John Goode’s plate, Ben decided that it would be best to create a diversion… by yelling “ACHOOO!!!”.. Not even attempting to sound like a real sneeze
-Matt Kemmer INSISTING that we were going to get kicked out of HOSS’s
-Finding something that looked like a peanut in my burger box… Zach grabbed it, ate it and confirmed that it was indeed a peanut
-Going out to eat with Zach, Nate, Mike T, Corey, and Doug to Baby’s
-Getting most of my fries stolen by Doug at Baby’s
-Stealing the last sip of Doug’s Milkshake.. fuck you, Doug :D
-Having Doug drop me off and actually talking to him with non-offensive words
-Hearing that Zach bought a dozen eggs and cracked them all for everyone at Nate’s place
-Zach pulled out a little blob of link from his pocket and told me to guess what this one little black thing in the lint blob was… I picked it up and insisted it was a rock.. Zach said it was mouse poop..
-Seeing Zach’s new hairstyle
-Matt Cross’s tips to help the PSU Noobs
-Firebag, in general
-Zach hit Legbeater with the firebag
-The snow on 4/20 didn’t hold up and it got really sunny and warm
-Being bros with Zach again!!!
-The Jam was a great success, in my opinion ☺

Lowlights:
-Sitting in Nate’s back work room by myself for 3 hours during the party because my girlfriend broke up with me on 4/20 (Thanks to everyone who talked to me that night and helped me feel better or talked to me the next day and tried to comfort me (Nate, Matt C, Khoa, Zach, Jim H, Matt K, Doug, Mike A, specifically.. That really helped, thanks guys)
I’m pleased to report that we talked the other day and we’re trying to work things out… she’s currently laying next to me right now and I couldn’t be happier ☺

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it happen.

I had a blast on and off the bag last weekend.

It went a little something like this...
8hour drive solo from Kalamazoo to State college on Wednesday
Show up to the shredhaus waaay before the jam  with a case of beer!
Slept incredibly well on a bean bag which I learned used to be ZachHoffas bed

Thursday wake up and had some good convo with the Nate/Nick/Ivan great catching up and getting to know the fellas a bit more
Had a great shred on campus and I was really shredding to impress
"That guy in the red shirt is awesome!" was a rumour floating around campus that day-made me feel 8)
Matador
Ivan's game is looking very refined and controlled
NickP throwing down in jeans like "Im not shredding today I'll just hit mobius from flapper"
freestyle soccer with Kwa (super impressive)
back to the lab for beers with the boys and stiched two panels together lol

Friday i woke up thinking "there's no way I'm shredding today"
15 minutes later NickP and I attempting surfing sets before breakfast haha
Nate is awesome at guitar!
Discin' in the park, errands for kerosine and random tourny prep, Pita pit gotta love it
Great times hiking/herpin with Nick
Handful of ibuprofin thaaaank you!
Everybody starts showing up to Nate's house starting with Tank that craisin bandit didn't even seal the bag!
NYFA showed up half drunk, it was great to see old/new friends-what a turnout!
Great day punctuated by some real drunk 4-square

Saturday Happy 4/20
Waking up, assembling the troops, raiding waffle house, stealing Doug's seat. Nick Polini eats like a wolverine
Shred time! Walking onto campus bangin Pretty lights music womp womp womp womp
Wicked session I was really turning it up and trying to show off the variety Ive developed since last year.
Blurry whirl
No rain!
It was truley inspirational watching the PSU crew and the east coast footbaggers shred all out. I learned quite a bit in just one day and got a lot of encouragment from everybody. Mikie is killing it. Knowing that he is shredding at about the same consistency as I am is really a whip in the rear
Balderdash was hilarious!
"Distlefink"-spinning ducking spinning swirling whirling spinning ducking...screw
Hornito-lost in the mall on viagra and speed lololol
4-square sloppy drunk gettin real loose with Mike Angeski I whiffed an inside kick and he told me to take off my fourkast shirt i hadnt earned it haha!
Fire hack i was useless by this point but I did manage to get some good footage!
matt cross bringing the tunes!
stumbled to a bedroom and passed out on a comfy floor

Sunday waking up in a pool of drool...awesome. Packed my car with footbaggers and off to breakfast
HOSS was...an experience. note to self-the "salad" bar has cake
Nick P eats cake like a wolverine
Picked up the mess a little bit and off to the shred sight once more.
I spent a lot of time shredding with Mikie and Ivan, we had a great exchange of tricks and styles. It was just wicked seeing how much they've improved and how we have diverged with trick repitiore and consistency.
Pdx torque
Mike Toolan hit Voodoo. I'm not sure if I've ever seen it before...wow
I took some footage of Nate, Nick, ZachH, MatK, Drew and one awesome video of...
:footbag: Doug-"Don't be a bitch"
:footbag: John Goode-"whew  ..ok" *hits rubberman* on camera \m/ well done buddy
warm goodbyes
8hour scenic drive home

What a jam. Thanks for the great time fellas. See you in Montreal!!!!!
