Nick: Yeah! It's funfunfun! And that is pretttttyyyy awesome! YES. And thanks! :D I try. (Although, if I'm being modest, I don't really think I'm "owning it" but rather... at least doing something... trying to do something).
But yeahyeahyeah! PSU Footbag Club FTW! :) ALL THE WINS!

Ben: Dilly. Thankstt. Thankya to ya with bringing your A-game. Except for today. Drilling. You should've done all those illusions. Quitter. :P But yeah. Also fun hangs. And drilling. And kicking. And stuffs. Fun.

Anyways, as Ben said in his footblog, we had a drilling session today. I only got 15 ATW bs and 5 Orbit bs, then tried doing legover afterwards, then also did a bit of toe stalls with the magic hop, and a bit of silly tries of pickup/illusion. It was sweat city D: but that's okay. Because that means I might be doing something right, right?

EDIT: YES. I made it to the second page! :D

Yay! Today we had a drill session. It was raining for a lot of the time, with lightning and thunder and everything, which was fun. Except I missed a lot of it because I was facing the opposite way...
Anywho. A lot of people showed up, which was fun and exciting. Besides myself, there was Ben, Marc, Ryan, Kat, Jeff, Greg, Aidan, and Ivan. It was a bunch of fun. I tried drilling something like op toe > ATW/Orbit repeat (because Marc said so), but I was being really stubborn also and switched from trying that and just trying to hit ATW/Orbit. Then, later on, I tried drilling with clippers, and did toe > far clipper bs. I'm not going to say how many times I successfully hit any of those because I wasn't counting, but it's somewhere between zero and infinity. I almost got legover on my weak side (aka the side I haven't hit it on yet), but I footed it so many times. IT'S SO CLOSE. UGH.
Also. Thanks for the tips everyone. Sorry I'm really stubborn, but I'll try my best, when it doesn't seem like I'm taking your advice at first, but really will (I'm just not doing it while you're watching, or I'll sound like I'm against it just to spite you probably).
But yeahyeah. Today was a fun day like every other footbag day, EXCEPT that... Today was World Footbag Day! Yay! Bringing people together! Yeay! (Mix between Yeah And Yay).

Alsoalso. I bought Cards Against Humanity and Balderdash, and plan on bringing the former to East Coasts.

As I was going to post on my footblog, I start at page one to have an internal reaction of: "What happened to my other two posts?!" Then that it was on the other page. Yay!

Anywho. Some of us kicked today. It was fun. We got pictures taken for the Collegian (school newspaper). I know that I'm gonna pick a copy up tomorrow and see if we got in and if so, who's the picture of. It was Khoa, me, Ben, Marc, and Jeff kicking it today. T'was fun. I also got my new lavers today! Yay! And I kicked with my new bag! More yay! AND AND AND AND... I BOUGHT MY TICKETS FOR EAST COASTS! YEAH! Triple Quadruple Quintuple yay! I'll post pictures of the awesome bag Ivan made me some other time (mostly because I'm lazy to upload them). I decided to try kicking with my new lavers and didn't do tooo bag. I mean bad. Freudian slip. I did some toe stalls with the magic hop and ATW mostly. After Ben and Jeff left, and Khoa started practicing his freestyle soccer, Marc coached me with magic hop/toe stalls, as well as inside stalls. I got inside stall b2b with good form (more or less), which was fun/exciting/an accomplishment!

Now, I'm waiting for tomorrow to see who this special secret guest is who is coming to Penn State and possibly dinner! Allll this excitement!

Cassy: Yeah! I'm nowhere near as good as you though ;P Make it to East Coasts! :D If you do, you will see me!

Ivan: Thanks! Flower addition! :D I love it. <3 Thaaaaanks again~
And yeah! YEAH! East Coasts! YEAHHHH!

Today we kicked! Yeah! I met Tom! And then... other people showed up, I'm not sure in what order... But there was also Ryan, Derek, Khoa, Aidan, Ben, Ivan, Marc, Kat, and then Jeff stopped by, but I don't think he kicked. Also, ALSO. We had a SPECIAL SECRET GUEST. Which was eating at me (trying to guess who it was). It was Mikie Etlinger! :D That was funfunfun. Cool session. Yay! More people should visit Penn State! A lot of people came today! Yay! I was kind of horrible though. I was mostly just practicing/trying to hit toe stalls/inside stalls/ATWs/orbits/legover/mirage. I also tried ss mirage today, suggested by Mikie (while I was trying to hit mirage I think). I didn't get it... but everyone was encouraging, which was nice. Afterwards, Ryan and Ivan went to train club (yeah?), and then Marc, Mikie, Ben, Derek, and I went back to the "shred house" and chilled. We ordered food! (Are U Hungry - which was my first time having/eating from there). I got the "Fat Mom TM." Twas yummy. Preferred fries separately though.

haha reading this make my day every time... everything seems to just being soooo fun with you at the moment April! I wish I can maintain that positive attitude in every sess like you do. Seems things I'm doing more these days are cursing and swearing after missed links lol.
Also, your ATWs/Orbits are getting massively good lately. On both sides as well, which is very impressive. I noticed that you still need to set a bit lower in doing legovers, but with practice I'm sure you'll get them no problem.

Cassy: That is true! I definitely will be trying harder! :D Hopefully sometime in the future I'll be as good as you are *aspirations*

Khoa: Ahhh! Thank you so much Khoa! That's flattering. And even if you're cursing/swearing, it shows that you're passionate about it! :)
Thanks for the tips and feedback :D I'll definitely work on them.

Nick: YEAH! I like blogging :) I at least plan to post after every session I participate in. Progress! East Coasts will definitely be a blast! I'm sure everyone's excited to show you how much we've improved :D See you then!

Today we had a session starting at 3:30. By the time I got there, Ivan, Marc, Tom, George, and Lauren were there. Kat and Khoa showed up shortly after I arrived. We split up into two groups and helped each other out (more or less). I was practicing incorporating magic hop, ATWs, Orbits (I'm noticing I need more practice on my left side for sure), Mirage, and Legover. I FINALLY got legover on my other leg. I know that I need practice with hopping and "attacking" the tricks, so I'm working on that. I was mostly working on mirage on both sides, but didn't quite get it today... I can feel that it'll come soon though! So, I've mostly been working on strengthening/practicing basics a lot, but it's needed and I think that even though it can be frustrating, it'll be worth it even if it doesn't feel like much. I'll at least be able to hit them more accurately, right? :)
Also, I hear that tomorrow is the day to mod my new lavers (as well as others with theirs), so that'll be an exciting time. :D I will definitely kick tomorrow with my newly modded lavers. Tune in then! (Wow. How cheesy.)

Kevin: Thanks! :D That's the plan! To get better than EVERYONE! >:D (Just kidding. Well. Well.... It's a far-off dream.)
Yes. Yes. Three females kicking in one spot :) Along with everyone else that comes. Yay!
See you at East Coasts!! YEAH!

Today I sort of drilled ATW/Orbit (mostly with my left leg/foot), then also tried at Mirage. It's a pain in the butt. But I feel as though I'm close. Tom, Ivan, Ryan, Marc, and Ben were also there doing their things. Also, earlier I had my new lavers modded. Thaaaanks Ivan. I also began learning to stitch! :D Thanks again Ivan! And then Marc made me food :D Thanks Marc (except he won't see this because he's lame and does not footblog). I suppose I should have put that before because the drilling was afterwards. But yes.
Alsoalso, another special secret guest on Wednesday... til Friday?! EXCITEMENT.

So, I decided to kick today since I had a free 2 hours before juggling club. I posted on facebook that anyone was free to join if they were interested and it was actually a good turn-out. Yeah! Ben, Marc, Ryan, Khoa, Kat, Ivan, and Khoa showed up (sorry if I missed anyone), and Derek stopped by shortly. I was mostly semi-casually drilling mirage, which I eventually hit.. TWICE! YEAH!! What had happened was that I was kicking into juggling time, but it was cool because the jugglers were next to footbaggers and we were all co-mingling and it was fun. I'm pretty sure it was the most members/people who showed up for juggling, which was fun, and at some point, 4-Square was initiated and both groups played in this joyous activity. So, this was around the time I had just finished hitting the mirages, and was going to start juggling because it was around 6 (30 minutes past the start of juggling club). I thought that this was a lot of fun, but too bad Footbag Club's meeting times are usually Wed/Sat, while Juggling Club's meeting times are usually Mon/Thurs. But it's times like these, right?! And who says we can't plan inter-mingled/extra/etc. meeting times/socials/etc.?! YEAH! FUN!
Anywho, I'm still excited for East Coasts, and for the special secret guest on Wednesday! :D

Great that you keep posting! I enjoy reading your blog to see what you guys have been up to. Props on the Mirages! Those will be your slave soon. Really easy to master that motion, just keep doing a few on each side during every session. And you're welcome for setting you guys up with the special guest :P My buddy told me he'd be going to visit family in Ohio and he had to cut almost right through PSU on his way back, so I told him he might as well stop on by and kick with you guys and gals! Turns out he had some free days after he came home, so he can crash at the Shredhaus. I wish I had free days so I could crash at the Shredhaus :/ Must be nice to have free days lol But whatever, at least I'll be seeing you at East Coasts soon! Those will be some ballin' free days! Keep up the good work, April May June July.

Nick: Yay! Thanks! They will! >:o I'll make sure of it! And thanks for setting us up with that special guest. Y'know. Seeing how easy it was for you to do that... ;P Lies on lies. A lie sandwich. Gosh. I should have seen it coming. The signs were there when you talked about the Shredhaus. *shakes head in disbelief*
Anyways. Thanks! I will definitely be keeping the good work up. Yesyes.

Yesterday I kicked a bit with Marc, Khoa, and Kat. I didn't make a separate post because nothing much happened. I checked to see if people were still kicking after my class ended (because Jeff wanted to kick at 4, but I guess left early, so I missed him). I don't even really remember what I did this day. Practiced the usual?

Yay! Kicked today! Funfunfun. SPECIAL SECRET GUEST was none other than NICK POLINI HIMSELF. The gall. Whatta trickster making everyone think it was someone else. Alfred. Pssssht. Anywho, we were going to meet at the usual spot, but since it's 9/11 and there was a memorial-esque thing going on, we changed the place, but then it rained, so we changed it again. Then it got hot, so we moved again. Then it started raining again, so we moved another time. Then we finally stopped kicking. The End.
But actually, that was just the movement of our group. So, what *really* happened was that I went to the squash courts, where we said we'd meet, and found Derek there already. Then, Ben showed up for a bit, but had to go to work. Then Ivan showed up, shortly following was Nick. Then Khoa and Ryan and Kat and Marc showed up. (This sounds like it happened a lot faster than it actually did, but... this is a story). Let's see... So squash courts. We kicked. Circled up. Then split the group up into two groups, where it was me, Nick, and Ryan, then Ivan, Khoa, and Derek. Later on, when Kat and Marc showed up, we moved outside. Marc didn't really kick much because he had to leave shortly for... work? The new grouping was Nick, Kat, and Ivan, then me, Ryan, Derek, and Khoa. Throughout the session, I was practicing ATWs/Orbits/Mirage/Legovers, then also actually (finally) tried Butterfly, Pickup (a couple times?), and maybe a couple other things. I asked Nick for tips on things like toe kicks/flicks, (prepping for) dragon and anchor, and other various things. All in all, 'twas a super fun session (not that other sessions are any less fun), but yeah! It's cool that Nick showed up :D INSPIRATION! AND SPIRIT! AND STUFF!
I'm excited for tomorrow's session as well as Friday's? Question mark for the lack of knowing if there is a Friday session. Food! (Meant for the post-session group meal we'll get tomorrow). And footbag! YEAH! I'm so excited! AND stuff! East Coasts! Getting better and practicing! Rants! Or something! :D Fun!
Wellp, expect a post tomorrow too!

I had class from 4:15 to 5:30 today, so I missed the majority of the session today. *sad* But at least I got to kick for a bit. In a dress and corduroy pants, and glasses. I hit a mirage! And then mostly practiced clipper. I also hit dragon from an outside stall (just moving my foot really, but apparently it counts. I'm cool with that). I will eventually be able to naturally hit it! Uhhh.... I also made a few attempts at legover and perhaps other various tricks, but I forget. Just wait 'til tomorrow. Just you wait. Oh yeah, but when I got to the session, Ben, Ivan, Marc, Nick, and Khoa were there, and I had heard that Derek left shortly before I arrived. Eventually Ben had to go to work (I believe), and then the rest of us went to eat at Big Bowl (Noodle House) and Ryan joined us there.
But yeah! FRIDAY! And EAST COASTS! And Cards Against Humanity! And hitting all sorts of tricks! YEAH!

Edit: Whoa!~ I just realized I'm now a Hack Fiend. I'm suuuuuch a fiend.
But anyway, I wanted to add in something that I wrote in my other blog that I was telling Nick about... Just because. I like it.
"And you just gotta go with where life takes you. When it gives you lemons, trade it for oranges and make orange juice. Or make lemonade, assuming you have sugar and water also. Or take those lemons and use it to season your food (especially if your dining hall gives you salmon and doesn't provide lemon juice for you to put your fish - which I'm not saying happened to me, but it did). Or even, take those lemons to grow more lemons and make a business with that. I'm sure people could use more lemons. (You could be "life" who gives someone lemons! Think about that!)"
Oh, April from a couple months ago (that was written at the end of March), you silly silly brilliant girl. Haha, just kidding, but I do enjoy re-reading it. Footblogs! Similar to regular blogs, you get to see how you've changed/improved/etc.! Bunches of fun!

Marc: You're not so lame, but still lame. Blog more.

Nick: Thanks! :D And me too (skipping juggling club)! I have a lot of fun kicking. :3

Yesterday I kicked with George, Nick, Ben, Lauren, Derek, Khoa, Aidan, Ivan, Marc, Ryan, and Kat. And I also met a new person, Joe! As Nick said on his footblog, he helped me with Clippers, which was... very helpful. I also pretty much practiced the usual (ATWs/Orbits, Mirages, Legovers, toe stalls, a bit of outside stalls, inside stalls, and probably other stuff). Afterwards, most of us went to eat at DP Dough (calzones), and I got cheese stix and didn't finish them, and bought a monster energy drink). Later on, I hung out at the Shredhaus with Marc, Ben, Ivan, Ryan, Kat, Khoa, and Joe. It was a blur... But yeah. I'm sure other people can fill in on deets. But what I remember, besides the gory stuff (which isn't really gory per se), is drinking my monster among some other things, spending time near the toilet, and drinking lots of water. Some of the people watched Man of Steel, which I was dozing in and out of. But before that, they casual circle kicked (which I didn't partake in because... I was near the toilet), for I don't know how long. It was an interesting experience...

Today, I kicked a bit with Ben (after missing kicking with Ryan and Ivan and am unsure if they actually kicked today or not). I FINALLY hit ATW>Orbit bsos (edited*), which I'm excited about. I played around with double ATW (and by that I mean failing miserably). Anywho, excited for East Coasts and kicking more and learning a bunch of tricks! :D

Puking in the BAPthroom of the Shredhaus, eh? haha we've all been there.

What do you mean by Atw/Orbit bsos?

Do you mean you hit ATW> Orbit Bsos? because if so, that's awesome. Big props on that. That stuff is really good for basic form and all.

Keep practicing!
