Anyone heard of it? It's a mobile app for iphone, android, Blackberry and Nokia where you can browse forums from your mobile device. I was wondering if it would be possible for modified to get this. I guess the forum needs the tapatalk plugin which is a download available from there site at www.tapatalk.com As far as I can tell it's free for the forum. There is a free version of the app that allows viewing of forums and a paid ($2.99) version that allows you to post. I thought it would be cool for updating footblogs from your shred spot, or just browsing/posting on the go.

Anyways, would you use it?

Note: I know little more about it's implementation with modified, other than that it needs a plugin. I don't even know who would have to add that plugin, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Quick note to Tapatalk users: you know you can turn the "Posted from Tapatalk on my WhateverPhone6527" signature off, right?

Yes. Did it immediately. Can't speak for everyone.

I will say I enjoy the tapatalk interface for mobile devices and now frequent modified when I'm bored or waiting somewhere with my phone.

It's way less necessary now that the web interface is responsive. Just pin the webpage to your home screen ... you get props and badges support there too. Posting even works well.

@allan the problem i run into using the mobile browser isn't related to modified, but to the way every browser I've used handles text boxes. It either capitalizes every word and/or doesn't auto space.

Also, in my case, since i frequent 3 other forums, it conveniently lumps them all into one place.

Yeah I'm not saying you shouldn't use it if it adds value for you :) just that it's not as necessary any more, since the common experience improved. I don't experience the same text-handling issues as you, so I don't see that as a detraction. I also can't add features through tapatalk ... Just sayin' :)
