Cool stuff, nice work! The whipping rakes made me think of the following helpful chart.

This is very helpful! I thank you! I'm Sure #muffinman has utilized this flowchart because of his results. Now I just have to take a few minutes and learn how to properly mention someone in a post.

Atomic to same side trick is called Taping I believe. So those were Taping Mirages, but the first one (Legbeater) was a proper Atomic. It's confusing since the ADD system is broken and X-Dexes are not counted, otherwise Atomsmasher (Atomic Mirage) would be a 4ADD and there would be almost no confusion.

Also, keep your style, everything looks very clean. 8)

Yes, I did understand that those were taps, but I knew the first one was a proper atomic. But what I didn't know was that it was called legbeater. I thought it was atomsmasher, but as you pointed out, I'll need to do an atomic mirage for it to be atomsmasher. The legbeater string was the last thing I did in my sesh, and I wanted to end on a good note so I did not attempt a flip one yet. How do you know so much for only playing for less than a year? AND I want to see a video of you playing footbag!

You are not far away from Atomsmasher, it's not harder than Legbeater, although that double hip motion (x-dex) can be tricky.

I've learned most of the theory behind footbag by playing the whole of winter with Dexter and Slava, who have been playing for like 40 years combined. I also find hitting a trick once very easy. So when I hit a trick, they'd tell me its name but I wouldn't consider 'having' it until I can hit it 30 times in a row.

For that reason, a video of me would be very boring. I have a couple 3ADDs I can hit 30 times in a row (Double ATW, anything Pixie, BOPs), but variety is lacking overall.

You will actually have a good time since you do all of the tricks that people like. I always hear stuff like 'do there tricks more, and not those you're doing', you'll be spared of that. =) (I don't listen, I do whatever I want)

But, you'll see me in Marco's competition video I guess, since I've submitted. I hope you did as well, I find your style similar to that of Ales Zelinka (hypercorrect BAP Czech guy), which is great to watch. Just waiting for when you do Paradons etc., these are often very unclean. (see Lon Smith for really clean ones, I think) 8)

I had also hit a whirling rake to string first try and some other really cool stuff, but the SD card said it didn't want to share all that juicy stuff.

Sesh with @shred4life:
So hot, we basically were trying single tricks.
Vince challenged me to bust some stuff and I wanted to work some stuff so:
Atomsmasher first try (mind literally blown)
Atomic legover
Atomic pickup (did I hit both those Vince?)
Paradox whirl several times, feels correct, thank you Popes.
Whizz
Butterfly swirl x 3. One was good, the other two weren't bad, but I wanted them better.
Drifter BSOS with correct technique, Clavens style, thanks again Popo. Actually didn't miss a strong drifter since I learned the technique. Maybe, MAYBE I'll post a vid. Been doing so many videos lately.

Clip set DLO BSOS
Toe set DLO BS (hit flip first try) (i've never missed a flip DLO in my whole life) lol
Same Toe set DLO BS
Paradox Symposium Mirage BS
Swirl BSOS
Gyro Pickup BSOS (Hit at least 20 of them, ten on each side, once sauced, which isn't enough)
Toe Same Symp Mirage BSOS

First sesh was at home
Second Sesh was at a carnival
Third sesh was at a park

I have wanted to go out in public and shred where there are many people for some time, but I have never had the confidence to do it, because I think I will look like an idiot and out of control. HOWEVER, I did shred at a carnival today and there were loads and loads of people there. I must not have looked like an out of control idiot because I had people watching me, complimenting me and even wanting to see more... "hey do that again!" "that guy can keep that thing going!" and such. There were a few times I didn't even drop. This is a good thing. I have confidence that I can go out and maybe even create some interest, or maybe get some new players in my city, perhaps even start a club if I can find some interested people. This would be good.

Great to hear that you overcame your fear of playing in public. With a little more work, by promoting with flyers, you can definitely get a club started. Good luck with it! If you need advice on that, hit me up.

Was very excited to see you hit Drifter b2b soon after we talked about it. Also, in the last session, big props on Swirl BSOS and all those DLO tricks. SOunds like DLO is sorta clicking for you.

I think you should focus less on hitting new tricks now and get your old tricks super consistent. I got stuck in that phase where I always wanted to hit new stuff. But if you take a concept, we'll say: Gyro Pickup :D you should structure sessions like this: you have session A, where you do Gyro Pickup> Butterfly bs… do that about 5x bs.. Then next session, try Butterfly> Gyro Pickup 5x bs, then next one do something like Gyro Pickup> Mirage 5x bs, then just keep repeating this trend of surrounding the trick you're trying to get good at with tricks that you're already pretty good at. Let me know how this works for you or if you want more advice on it. Keep it up dude. You're going places.
