I found two camp grounds on long island:

This one is in the middle of the island and looks like it would be a longer commute.

This one is on the beach, which sounds dope, and is closer to the event but neither is very close. I just did a quick google search and this is what I got I'm sure you can dig deeper and find more options.

Noice, staying on top of things.

I'm down for Open Circle and Sick 3, or what not. On the fence for routines, still. I'll crash anywhere, even if it means an alley. Been laggin' on communicating to confirm a spot.

Hey guys, hope you don't mind me coming for a whole week, tue-tue :) I figure I should stay a while as I have never been to the east coast for footbag and only once in my life! Appreciate any crash space that might be available as well. I will compete in everything but I all I really care about is routines as long as there are routines I'll be a happy boy. Wow it's been a while since I seen some of ya.

Crash space for Nick, Brian, Derek and Cassy for sure too. I think we will have crash space for everyone that needs it, If need be I will take people to my place which is about 40 minutes away. Since you are staying for a week Brian maybe you can stay with different people for a few days at a time to not over stay at any one place. I'd be happy to put you up for a few days in Sleepy Hollow. It'd probably be nice for you to see other places besides NYC.

Cool!
I'll just say now and here too that I'm pretty sure PSU crew would like crash space. As of now it seems like at least 5 definitely attending. :D

Also, I'm most likely planning to make one dessert dish (as per special request-ish from Brian Sherrill). I'm thinking of making something between White Chocolate Blondies, Cinnamon Coffee Cake, Chocolate Mint Brownies, Cheesecake Brownies, Vegan Brownies, or Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Brownies. Any of those in particular that people would prefer? Any allergies?
(I'm only planning to make one batch of anything because of the transportation from State College to NYC).

April makes great food.

Also, since he is picking me up, I'd love to request Doug "LA-Z-Boy" Tank some crash space, just in case.

Ryan Thomas might also be join us for the ride.

Glad I mentioned the baking! Those all sound delicious, brownies are my favorite tho so any of those get my vote.

Wow, such a sick turnout so far! Hyped to meet all the west coast guys that I haven't gotten a chance to meet yet. I pretty much know nothing about details or event info, but I'll try to get caught up and help out the crew here in NYC. Brian, bring some footbags please =) You will also have a spot to crash for a few days(probably before the weekend kicks off) so let me know if you need a spot.

I'm interested in making it down to ECFC and I would plan to bring my wife and son with me. Trying to figure out inexpensive lodging options. I'd love to request crash space, but I also need to be mindful of what kind of evening activities my son might be exposed to....exposing him to folks chillin' with a beer at the end of the day is totally cool, but I'm probably not going to with father of the year if we stay at a party house.

Are there any family friendly crash spaces available? Alternately, is there anyone who would want to split accommodations somewhere?

1. we'd be flying into Newwark so is it possible for someone to pick us up
2. crash space for me and Michelle.

I love to come and hang

Thoughts?

This is amazing this event seems to be blowing up like crazy. I'm super excited to welcome everyone to this. Ted is working on securing a place to house people for a very reasonable price that should be perfect for your family Bob, I'll post more info as soon as Ted secures it. He said it's a huge house that will cost $35 dollars per person per night.

I think Jon should pick you up Mark, cause he lives much closer to Newark then anyone else and you can def have crash space with me if need be. As I said before it's less then ideal cause I live far away but if we can't find enough space for everyone I can trek a car full to my place. I really hope you guys make it that would be great.

This is a ECFC update
I apologise for not getting more involved with this post until now. I have secured two possible locations in the brooklyn area. I WANT TO SAY THIS TWICE SO YOU WILL SEE IT AGAIN!!!! THESE DEALS ARE THROUGH OUR SPONSOR AND US USING THIS PROPERTY(S) LEADS TO CASH DONATION FROM THE SPONSOR!!!! The first sleeps 25 and is $35 per person per night. Kitchen bath and sat dinner is included in the fee. It is located on 50th st and 9th ave in brooklyn. This is near the D train which will be easy to use to Dumbo and Commodore park. THIS LOCATION CAN ADD MORE ROOMS IN INCREMENTS OF TEN!!!!! So for the math challenged (like me) after we confirm 25 we need a total of 35 to take the next place.
The second is located on courtelyou rd and marlborough rd, costs $45 per night and has a better bathrooms. it is near the Q train which also goes to commodore park.
On Monday august 10th I will be visiting the first location. PLEASE lets start a list(which I Do not no how to do here) here and on FB of who and how many can afford to stay at the chosen location. I will be choosing the location along with jim hankins.
So I do understand if you are seriously broke and do not stay at the ECFC house, but it s cheap, good people and great food. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SPONSOR SO THEY PONY UP SOME CASH. IF WE DO NOT GET THE HOUSE WE WILL LOOSE THERE SUPPORT!!!! Stay tuned ted f ps we can make it some what family friendly if we can get 35 people or more to stay in the ECFC house!!!! so stay tuned people are responding

Thanks for the campgrounds Drew. Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to make it this year, but it's already on the calender for next year!
