Footbag Friday was pretty weak, my legs are getting kind of tired i need a rest day i think.
Today was pretty dope, started off really well but then had a hard time staying warm, 4-5 person circle for most of the time and the ac in steves shred room is actually a bit cold for me! eep! i'lll have to slowly secretly turn up the temperature.

i think tomorrow i will have a toe only session with eggs and dlos and miraging pickups and maybe illusioning pickups if i feel saucy. and dbl switches.

watched the worlds routines, really great choreography from the top 4, i liked Evan's song for worlds much better than euros. I think Vasek had the best routine though, by quite a bit technically and maybe about the same artistic-wise, maybe also better. i think he gets judged harshly based on the EPIC routines he used to do, but this one was pretty darn good. anyway, BIG PROPS to the top 3 for going dropless and doing amazing routines!
EDIT: i did enjoy evans and jindras more but gotta step back and take an objective look at what cues were hit and what tricks were done.

Saturday session was pretty dope.
4-square is pretty fun, though I will win whenever I want to
Usually after I win game 1, I will try to get as many people get in the teens as possible (focus on just killing the leader pretty much whether they are in the server square or not). I find this to be much more entertaining and it makes it more difficult for me to win since i try to wait for everyone to be at 13 before going for it.
Derek was tearing shit up, shred wise. some great clipper -> toe combos.
I started off playing really well, but had a hard time staying warm. Steve's AC is too powerful I say! Also, playing in 2 person circles all the time has gotten me used to staying very warm.
My left hip is messed up. nothing new, just working on getting dem pops and cracks out of it. I feel it mainly when trying flip dbl pickups/ whirrs/ high plains. all very similar tricks, will have to slow them down in air shred to match the strong side, i hope its form and not my hip being f'ed up hah. Hopeful because flip dbl downs are getting better and not hurting at all
Took a day off, it was really nice. Then played with a big bag for a session, a very rough bag to play with but good for focus.

blog neglection, i was very busy babysitting all week long, like every day. and i was dog/housesitting for a week there as well. and dexter has been in town, and will be til tomorrow.
woah, didn't realize quite how busy i was. oh well, i gots moneys now.

I start my nannying job on monday: mon, wed, thur, from 330-730 getting like 200 a week im stoked.
10 year old girl and 12 year old boy, will be helping with hw, sports, baking, cooking, dishes, all the usual nanny stuff i guess.

my flip fairys kind of pooped out, i didnt practice them for like a week :/
buut alex pointed out that my left shoulder sinks when i do em and my right shoulder stays strong on the strong side. hopefully this will help all my toe sets. flip pixies were actually feeling ok yesterday, very surprising. I also have been slacking on the yoga, so i need to do that. flip p whirls also took a poop for some reason, but i am not worried about that too much. just need my support leg/foot to do most of the work. one trick that has been pleasantly nice is flip motion, i can't wait to master this so that i can convert it to flip barfly. shred has been good though, having fun and laying down some pretty long strings.

I MUST PRACTICE MY ROUTINE, i have not touched it since USO. So that is my reminder. I have to do it at least every other day, hopefully every day. I might make an extra more street performy routine to "Wiggle" cause I freaking love the whistle part on it.

oh crowley, muted sequences are my favorites. I think I will film a full muted session soon!

spent the weekend in tahoe with an old friend from 4th grade and her boyfriend, it was a super fun time. lots of smokin and drinkin, and some good gambling. went from $40 to $200 in like 10 minutes on roulette, and did a $40 to $80 on different table. best i have ever gambled.

A big part of the reason i wanted to go to tahoe was to shred with pipebomb, so it was pretty silly that I forgot my g-units. Lavers ain't so bad! Hard tricks were just as easy, toe tricks were the same, it was mainly my run length that suffered from the lavers. I think i might play in them once a week just to switch things up. eggbeaters were working, though my flip one is bit to vertical/hippy gotta get that illusion leg more horizontal but my left hip just kept saying no (flexibility and brain).
Pipenberg was shredding it up pretty darn well, especially for pretty much never playing. smooooth shuffle. he always makes me want to learn shuffle, as I would like my shuffle style to be as smooth as the rest of my game.

Haven't practiced my routine a single time yet, so maybe today i will work it for a long time.

for me best of lavers is them shape, foot looks a bit less than in units, way of dexes looks a bit easyly too. Unfortunately my lavers are broken, but units already came to Moscow.

My lavers are just a bit too big for me, or I guess I should say for my right foot. My feet are a whole size different, but I have managed to get a system with these gunits with one thick sock and tightening laces more on the small right foot.

Your shred looks good in gunits aleksey, no worries about not having lavers.

No requests til October, have to stamina train for east coasts. After that, requests away!

Played with Derek yesterday at hieroglyphics free day, only for like 30-40 min. I was feeling like I seriously could not drop, but got very exhausted, arms felt weak, dry mouth cause my nose was bein a bitch too. Lots of watchers and filmers, we both had some sweet strings. Chilling with Derek and his friend Stephanie was great times tho, super moist and hilarious.

And this past weekend I went to a really interesting show in the city with Alex on Treasure Island.
This time electronic based, and there were no speakers!!! Everyone was given headphones (really nice and had to give your id as leverage) and you could tune in to channel 1 or 2 depending on the DJ you were grooving to. It was pretty trippy, but pretty awesome as well. You could take off the headphones and converse with people without SCREAMING, or just for a break from the music. We were the first ones there, and when we left the workers made a comment about us being hacky sack championions... of course I got to say, "actually, i am the current us champion". pretty cool.

Anyways, I haven't really been playing much, and not very seriously when I do. The death of my g-units has been the main cause even though these leather leavers are pretty darn nice. I just have soo much shit to do lately, it sucks lol. I rather enjoyed being unemployed and free to do whatever.
Oh well, i guess money is ok

Been trying to dial in this rake trick. I dislike a lot of people's rakes/ symp mirages because they blur the lines between the 2 tricks. I only like symp mirage if the thigh comes parallel to the ground and there is no turn, just side to side jumping. and no rakey toe catch. I do not like a lot of peoples rakes because they are either too shallow or they are jumping for the trick (crappy symp mirage style) How can one be sure they have a nice deep rake? first try not jumping with the support leg when you do it, then try to keep the pivot to a minimum. then you can try this fun combo:

Neat drill! I agree about the rake vs. symp mirage thing. I try to make sure to differentiate them but sometimes I get lazy with symp mirages and they end up rakey.

footbag, been playing every other day pretty much. felt really good on saturday, was hitting every single thing i wanted to, even a couple of flip eggbeaters! flipside motion and motion sickness are getting better and better, but flip blenders and p blenders are still a bit wonky. gotta study some vid but i think i am not lifting my knee high enough/not jumping enough on the support.

routine practice has been going ok, i am making my routine pretty darn hard choreo-wise and compared to my old routines harder difficulty/lest rests. just about every trick is choreographed, and i am pretty darn sure every single one will be by performance time. intense.

g-units are breaking in nicely, i have been wearing them pretty constantly.
and i wrote BEAT in orange above the LA logo, snazzzy.

smashed my ankle pretty bad today while on my electric scooter (which is totally pimpin).
hoping its just a cut, and some minor bruising. will find out tomorrow when i shred!

i saw a plane that was flying the other day, appeared to morph a bit then it started hovering...
i told papa goldberg and he said its just a F-35 or harrier. crazy. i was trippin when i saw it.
