Tiltless BSOS Challenge Series: NEW FEATURED PLAYER!

Post by MetZelRio »

Tiltless BSOS Challenge (TBC)

TBC ongoing series is specifically made for players who are looking to acheive the tiltless level of freestyle footbag. The strings which are featured will have a focus on both-sidedness so you will will be encouraged to have both strongside and flipside execution early in their game. Even if you are a more advanced player but somehow missed training your flipside, this could be the challenge series that boosts your game to where you know it should be. Hit the featured TBC and post your video of hitting it in this thread. This first post will be updated with the latest TBC challenge and string description

Far, Near and Consecutive Clippers
Important Note: The near Mirage may be replaced with anything that gets the footbag to far toe, for example; far legover, bubba, or far pickup. The near mirage is not important to the string except for the fact that it keeps this drill tiltless.

In the BSL thread (see my signature for a link to the BSL's) Nick had an idea I would like to have implemented both in that thread, and in this one. Here is what I propose:

Anyone who wants to be the featured player and submit a TBC, PM me and I'll give you the details of what the video specs need to be, the tricks you want to do, how to send it to me, blah blah, etc etc and we can get this thing really moving with a whole bunch of community participation and contribution! I don't want the featured player to be me all the time anyway. I'd like to have YOU as the featured player. =) LETS DO THIS

Hell yeah, Paul! Way to not beat yourself up, this time. Ha. Dig the longer stalls, very Kemmer-esque.

Well. Thanks to your comment on YouTube yesterday I decided to give one of your challenges a go. It took me a while to get it but damn did it feel good.

I know that last Pdx wasn't the cleanest but practice makes progression.

I feel like that drill was as difficult mentally as it was physically (difficult for us lower level players)

Did you feel that way about this drill Kyle? Like it was hard to think through it and execute it?

EDIT: Props! Bravo! That's not the easiest thing to do. GOOD WORK!

I 100% agree with you Paul. I spent all weekend trying to get it all the way through. And probably 35% of the tries, I just kept forgetting which link was next.

One mirage challenge. Will try to get better shot in the next week or so. Can we use Muted SS Mirage instead of just a regular SS Mirage?
