Ok So we have the house at $35 per person per night. if you can bring air mattresses please do as maybe 4-6 people may sleep on the floor. The place is in little china town located between dumbo and coney island. good Thai food and sushi places near by. cooking in the house and the ECFC "TARA'S" pasta dinner on sat night. Its a 5 minute walk to the N train which will bring you to the D train real easy, which will bring you to the site(s). I am still gonna look at the other place but they are $45 per night. please post hear or on fb if you plan on staying at the house. Party needs to be quiet after 10pm its a working class area. no loud music or yelling(we play sports so we should sleep anyway)

I would be down to rent at the house if I don't need to bring people to my place. I think that we should save all the crash space for the poorest and the furthest traveled. $35 a night is so reasonable.

ECFC update (Sept 27 and 28th Ok we have limited time to do this, we have space for 18 people and can get space for 18-35 more, but we need to act quick. here is a list I have so far.

I had a quick look around the neighborhood of Ted's rental house --- I give my approval. A safe and clean neighborhood, socially very interesting, with plenty to eat within an easy walk. Not too far from the event site. Close to shopping and gasoline, etc. Everything we'll need. Parking will be difficult, but not impossible. Be prepared to find a fair parking spot and leave your car there pretty much all weekend while taking the subway or riding with some other person.

ECFC is looking for sponsors we have about 3 weeks to get them. Cash is needed most of all. They will get mentioned (too much) t-shirt space and all promotional material will mention them. GET CRAKIN!!!!!!! no donation is too small. Get cash or checks with info to John S or Bdole!!!!

I would like to file a complaint.

Can all routines PLEASE be before circle comp. Please please please. The earlier the better. They take so much less time than circle.

I might be inclined to pull out of routines if I've been shredding for 4-5 hours before it's time to compete.

Ooh good catch Cass. I second the vote for Routines before Circle. It just makes more sense from an energy management standpoint. Similar to Cass, I will compete in both events if Routines comes before Circles. If not, I'll probably only compete in routines.

I think Jim wrote that schedule and he's not running freestyle. I say that routines will be done first and unless outsider or Dole demand differently I think that is the way it will be. Sorry about the confusion. It looks like it's more and more unlikely that we will be holding freestyle at the arts fest but we will still get a chance to enjoy it since it's only a few blocks away. Commodore Barry park will likely be the location for all events, we just played there last weekend at afro punk fest and it is a very nice park.

Yes that schedule is subject to change. Also There is a chance we might run a ROAMING sick trick competition in and around the Dumbo footprint. I also encourage everyone who can to stay at the ECFC house don't travel from far away to get there. Jims times are also subject to change. WE HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE COMING!!!
