Eliot just left. He came through town on Monday and we had a pretty good session in Beacon Hill park. I didn't play great. It was Eli's first time in over three years, but he was still busting out tomahawk > tomahawk and some solid 10-15 contact runs.
We hung out that evening, but then he took off to camp along the coast at Botanical Beach for a couple of nights.
On Tuesday, Matt & I played. I got some video. I played OK. I got a ducking bronze badge. One of these days I'll edit out the clip and claim it

Matt played his usual game.
Eliot came back a day early because his dog (Lucy) needed some help with one of her paws, so we had a beer or two and watched a skate video (Pretty Sweet).
He roamed around the city today while I was at work, and then we met Matt at the museum and had a solid three-person shred. We were all playing pretty good. I had a couple of 30+ contacts runs with decent density. Eli hit shooting butterfly > 15 or so contacts that included one other move that made me happy, but I can't remember what it was. He hit blurry drifter first & second try (after more than 3 years!). Matt's been really taking it up a notch recently, hitting more consistent ~10 contact runs with lots of variety. My last run had DSO > ISO BSOS in amongst 30 - 40 other contacts with a bunch of 5s ... it felt great. I ended the session with it, as I'm trying harder these days to end things on a positive note.
No video on any of it
Eli had to work tomorrow morning, so he's off back to Vancouver, but I think I can get him to play more often. I'll have to take trips over there and drag him out.
Fun
