Wow, it sounds like you hit some really good stuff. There are tricks here I don't even know! Haha I would love to see some footage.

Thanks guys :) would love to do a video soon. Expect it!

Great birthday duo session with Cassy. We kinda tried to busk, but kept getting kicked out of our spots, so that was a bummer. Highlight:
-bedwetter, blurriest(?), gyro dlo, scorpion's tail all BSOS, ending on mobius > pdx blender > hand catch?
Cassy hit 10(?) spinning clippers!

It was super hard to maintain stamina with a two person in such high profile locales. Especially after yesterday's session. Super fun day though :) The girl im seeing came by to see me play for the first time too, and my two runs while she was watching were pretty badass and long (30+ each?). Then i met her and her daughter at the park playground and had slide races with the latter :) really nice day.

On my way home to make a portobello burger and dumplings!

Oh yeah, and some rando was watching (super nice guy) and asked me how many "stalls" I could do. Cassy had been doing clippers? So I thought I'd go for many ducking clippers. I did 76-ish first try? Was hoping for at least 100, or to break my record (140ish? I dunno -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGbyxl0AXCc) So that was kinda neat. He was floored. Hahaha. We also hopefully may have recruited a natural street hacker... we'll see how that pans out

Oh, i forgot that i hit double spinning whip both sides last weekend too :) new on both counts? Maybe ive done one before.

Today's session was pretty long and intense. Such a good workout. Maybe over 2 hours? Cassy had some great beats that i was really into. Highlights before i forget:
-43 gyro clippers (last record was 40 -- had a stupid drop...)
-30 spinning clippers, 24 flip? New records, both
-food bsos
-spender bsos?
-mobius, gyro dlo, scorpion's tail all bsos
-blazing clipper > spinning clipper [repeat] > ripwalk > bling blang [repeat]
-pigbeater bsos, dropped bsosing the bedwetter
-14 and 12 far osii? (More dizzying than spinning!)

Other stuff im probably forgetting too. I drank like 2 litres of water and a gatorade, and then grabbed a bubble tea too which was so exactly what i needed. Incredible. So im officially exclusively with that one girl and she came by and met Camille and Cassy briefly which I thought was super cool. Every weekend is basically a marathon of spending time with her, which is amazing. Her mom is really excited to meet me.

Oh i was also racing Alex to pixie flail bsos, which i got. I also had a run with all 4 clipper set flails, which was neat. Almost bsosed gyro flail. They didnt really hurt, but they were prolly the. Super fun to feed of others' repertoires since im always so bored with my own.

Im so exhausted. In a great way :)

I'm glad you liked the music! That's all the stuff Johnny Sarah gave me at Grand Rapids Jam but for some reason I never thought to play until recently. It's a pretty solid shred playlist. That new speaker is real clutch too.

Laura seems really nice! It's super cool that she came out and also that she does yoga.

You were on fire today! I really appreciated watching you shred.

After everyone else had gone, Alex and I were talking about how lucky we are that you come out all the way from Oshawa so frequently! You're, like, the most reliable FAT member, and you're not even in Toronto.

I want to get a nice speaker too. Moreso for just at home. The small ones are great for portability, but a bit of a pain to set up just for spontaneous home use.

-Rev mullet and whirlwind bsos almost

EDIT: Some of Evan's highlights:
-fairy whirling swirl BSOS?
-gyro revup > rev swirling blender?
-vortex > swifter [repeat] (actually 6 contacts > hand catch)
-vortex swirl almost BSOS
-blurrage > pixie barrage > pixie paradon > blurrage > pixie...
-bed > toe blur > fusion [repeat]
-69 > gangsta?
-gangsta BSOS
-blurry whirling swirl > barfly swirl
-gyro double pickup > pixie double pickup?
-swirling ducking butterfly?
-fairy egg > fairy same egg > fairy egg > fairy same...

-vertigo > tomahawk [repeat]
-he was trying DLOing DLO... I didn't understand\

Oh man, Erik, your highlights are frightening. Reverse mullet sounds cool as hay stacks and alpine blazing?! I want to mention more of what I like but I don't want to repeat the whole post.

I was trying fairy reverse whirling swirl the other day!
Whoaaa.
Not that I have any business trying that.

Also, very cool highlights.

I also cannot comprehend DLOing DLO.

Hope to see you at ECFC! Even if just for a bit! :D

Thanks for the kind words, guys :)
Not sailing -- all mid/downtime.
I booked my bus to NYC for ECFC :) I'll only be shredding for a few hours though. I'm going with my new girlfriend and we're going to spend most of our time sightseeing and gallery hopping. Hopefully scoring a ride back with Cassy and co, which would be super fun (and a lot shorter and cheaper than the greyhound back...) Stoked to see you guys!

Highlights from today's session with Adam (wherein we played really hard and really well :)
-blazing ducking first try again (missed the clipper though)
-20 blurry whips
-30 spinning clippers both sides (new flip record)
-2 contacts shy of 10 rotations or spinning clipper > gyro clipper [repeat]
-a run with like 6-8 spinning ducking clippers BSOS, rev maelstrom BSOS... something else
-blazing clipper > bling blang > blazing clipper > bling...
-almost blazing far whip > rubberman > blazing far whip
-36 far whips
-15 spinning osii
-almost scorpion's tail > barfly [repeat]
-other stuff?

Adam filmed and says he's going to make a video by tomorrow! Stoked :)

Holy crap dude, blazing ducking clipper... Wow. I've ducked it twice, but never a good enough set to hit something out of. That's stoke worthy. My brain stopped clicking when u read that you were getting a bus to ecfc. I'm really excited to kick with you again. Thanks again for chatting with me at psu while we were both to injured to shred. That helped me a lot. Spinning sounds like it's really improving too. Really excited man, see you in a week!

Hi.

Your game has been talked about at like every session I've been to recently.. also on the phone with some players. The general consensus is that you fucking rip, dude. Seriously. Pure raw shred. You can feel the intense energy that exudes from your game when you're just watching a circle where you're playing.

Get well now and film some stuff :P

Trying to get stoked for a new Chan video in the near future.

Too sweet.

Nick, you're sooo good. What was that combo you BSOSed? Gyro rev swirl > symp revup or something? I don't know. Everything you do is awesome.
Asmus, it's been too long! Copenhagen would be swell -- any word on that for next summer? My lady and I are eager to visit! (Also, I can't zigzag -- but I'll try to remember to try it. Probably bling blang > whirling rev swirl would be easier for me)

DUDE! it was an honor to finally kick with you! i was way too tired/stoned/filled with mexican food to say anything more intelligent then "your fucking sick" or whatever when we kicked at ECFC but your game is gnarly man. that rev mullet>bling blang drill was off the hook!

I expected you to be very good but you honestly exceeded my expectations (probably because your down alot on your own game in your blog :D). The fast whips, blazing sets, frothy double downs and dexless stuff all amounts to a super solid, well rounded game.

Peace homie and hopefully we can kick again soon!
